TPN Evening News Friday 13th May 2011.

The PPD is still investigating the murder of the known big game hunter Van Peltro, a close associate to Emperor Cole. Van Peltro was murdered earlier today in his private estate.

According to the witnesses there was an anthropormorphic feline seen near the crime site. It was dressed like some kind of samurai.

We warn the public that this feline might be feral and very dangerous.

The PPD has issued a shoot on sight order in order to protect the rest of Praetorias loyal citizens.

If you see this anthropormorphic feline, call the nearest PPD station at once. Do not try to approach it alone.

Hm.. More costume slots would be neat. And double exp would be nice aswell.

Large gathering of Circle of Thorn mages.

Early this morning there was a large gathering of Circle of Thorn Mages outside an apartment building in Kings Row. Eye witnesses claim that the mages were first trying to get inside the building but something kept them away. After trying to get in the large group started to make some sort of chant and after a long while when the chant started to reach its cresendo, some kind of shockwave sent them flying.

When the PPD arrived to the scene to drive them away, some mages could be heard talking about a great magical power building up inside the apartments.

Investigations have been unsuccesful so far.

Conall was not far behind Miranda as she went into the sub. He threw the ghouls a last glance and climbed into the sub. He gave them the werewolf bird and then he closed the hatch above him.

Conall snarled at the ghouls and gave them a menacing growl.

"We aint got time for you undead, as your fate has already been sealed by whatever that has been unleashed on this island. I think whoever your master is, he dont give a rats tail about you lot."

Then he looked at Miranda.

"You heard the boss, time to head back to the sub." He said and shivered at the thought of entering that cramped tincan again.

Conall was about to attack the feral as he felt a very cold chill down his spine. Something dangerous had shown up and he knew that it was something that he could not fight.

"Miranda, can you sense what i am sensing?"

Without taking anymore time he charged at the feral and aimed for its throat.

"Miranda! They are after me!." He shouted as he tried to be heard over the gunfire.

He then jumped over Miranda and ran towards the charging ferals.

As Conall met one of the ferals halfway, he aimed a powerful punch towards the Feral's face.

Conall tore the head of a zombie before he shouted back to Miranda.

"Dont worry! I'll make it quick and painless for them."

Suddenly he stopped and sniffed the air. He did not like what he was sensing and bared his fangs as he started to growl.

"Miranda! There is something here, it is not a zombie.. it is something else and i dont like the smell of it.

A-8 The Port Pier

Conall stopped shaking and gave Miranda a thumbsup.

"Dont worry, i wont kill anyone. I might break a few bones, but no killing."

He then started to make himself ready for the upcoming fight.

"I guess i will take up too much space if i shapeshifted in this small tub" He muttered to himself

Morilanthi stopped when he sensed Alex leaving the castle. He took hold of his amulet and spoke via the amulet.

"Alex, I can open up a emergency portal to Pocket D. Just get to where i am and i will open it up. Tell your father to get here aswell."

The doors of the Midnighter Club in Cap au Diable flew wide open as Morilanthi came running out of the building.

He stopped for a brief moment until he felt a very familiar presence and began to run in that direction.

Morilanthi was running at high speed through what seems to be a well lit cavern tunnel.

"I will have to apologize later, as there was no time to explain myself." He thought to himself as he was nearing his destination.


Earlier at the Midnighter Club in Steel Canyon.

"I will be taking these scrolls to Azuria, Frank." A midnighter said to his colleague as he was walking towards the door. Suddenly the door flew open, hitting the large bundle of scrolls and sent them flying.

Morilanthi ignored the man's shouts as he made his way towards the caves that connected the Midnighter Club with the others.

Knowing that there was no time to waste, Moril took hold of his amulet and sent a direct thought to Pious.

After he had sent that thought, he brought out his device he had received from the Vanguard. He pressed a button on it and a green light engulfed Morilanthi and as soon as the light faded away, he stood there in his nighthunter armor with his sword hanging by his waist.

Then he began to move out.

A victorious howl was heard through the streets of Cap au Diable. Soon another howl joined in. The two werewolves had managed to corner their prey, a hunter.

"Looks like we managed to finally get you.. hunter" The grey werewolf growled

"Yes, there is no use trying to escape now. We will claim your hea..."

A gunshot was heard and the brown werewolf fell to the ground with a gaping wound in his head.

"Weak.." The new arrival said with a raspy voice and aimed his gun at the other werewolf.

"Who dares.."

Before he managed to finish his sentence he was cut off by another gunshot that felled him to the ground.

"Weak puppies.. You never deserved to claim this bounty.. Leave it to the professionals.. to the real bounty hunters."

He turned towards the hunter who was standing with his back against the wall with a terrified expression on his fate.

"I guess you deserve to know the name of the one who is about to put you out of your misery." He aimed his gun towards the hunter.

"My name is T.C. Holcomb.. Bounty hunter." As he spoke, he pulled the trigger and shot the hunter.


A few moments later..

T.C. Holcomb sealed the leather bag with the severed head inside it and turned toward the dead werewolves.

"Still young ones i assume.. More experienced werewolves would never had made such ruckus that is easy to follow.."

ah, fair enough

Meanwhile in Kings Row Hospital.

"I cant belive he survived lying beneath all that debris." One nurse said to the other nurses.

"The doctor said it was because of that strange armor he was wearing, it kept him alive. But his arms and his left eye were badly injured."

Next to the nurses, on a hospitalbed, laid unconsciously what seemed to be a cathumanoid. His arms and the left side of his face covered with bandages.

The nurses kept whispering quietly to eachother.

"When they found him, his arms seemed to be covered with burnt fur and his hands were covered with blood, as if he had tried to first blast his way out and then dig himself out."

"Have the police found the ones who blew up the apartment?" One of the nurses asked carefully.

The other nurses just shook their heads.

Pious being stranded? how? Cant he just open a dimensional rift or something as he always does?

"Friend or foe?" Morilanthi asked the new arrivals with an eeire calmness to his voice.

"Your very lives may depend on your answer.."

Morilanthi stood there with a calm expression on his face, an expression that tried to hide extreme fury. No longer was there a nighthunter standing there. It was a Guardian of the Endless Forest, a guardian who had slain countless of demons. To him, they were standing between him and the woman that he loved.

It was almost as you could see the Grim reaper standing behind morilanthi, holding a skeletal hand on his shoulder.
