Red: Werewolf Hunter, Oct 30
Felicia has posted a preview video!

Little Red Riding Hood is hands down my favorite story ever. The juxtaposition of something so innocent and kind encountering such malicious evil has so many different themes and interpretations, it continues to be relevant no matter who tells it and how.
May be the only Sci-Fi movie I watch.
Edit: Okay, so that looked awful. Anyway, will try to expose myself to something different.
Yeah, normally I avoid Sci-Fi movies, but I'm too much a fanboy of Felicia to miss this.
Looks pretty mehtastic.

Yeah I'm pretty much in the same boat with this: I've pretty much written off the "SyFy" channel for anything worthwhile and I have low expectations for this but for Felicia's sake I've got my TiVo set to record it. I'm hoping she's good enough to make it worth the effort.

I love SyFy movies. They crack me up like few others can. Prolly some of the funniest movies on TV. There was the line in Sharktopuss that was so, breathing takingly hilaruious i still chuckly when i think about it. My whole family was gasping for air after it.
Of sure, it wasn't supposed to be funny... but god it was hystrical.
I love syfy movies. Granted, if your lasy and don't have much time, just check The Soup each week. Joel normally has the highlights worth watching.

As an enormous fan of bad movies, and an enormous fanboi of Felicia Day, I'm really looking forward to this movie, especially after seeing the clip.
Judging from the clip, the movie looks bad, and none of the acting looks good at all.
But then, my question is, is that what they were going for?
BrandX Future Staff Fighter
The BrandX Collection
Man, that looks really farkin bad. Why, Felicia, why?
Be well, people of CoH.
Basically if I want comedy I'll watch Comedy Central.
I don't watch anything on Comedy Central expecting it (off-hand) to be good Sci-Fi.

Probably true.

One get killed while the othe isn't looking. The other gets grabed, and says "on, not like this..." The line itself isn't funny, it's the delivery. I haven't seen a line spoken so badly since Tommy Waso in "The Room". I laughed for 5 mins. You should google it.
And if you don't know what the room is, google it too. The nestalga critic did a review of it that good pulled from his sight, cause, Waso is sueing him i think. You can still find it around if you look... it's worth the effort IMO.

It was pretty eairly in the movie. Two dudes working on cleaing the outside of a ship, i think.

This? He should win an award for hilariously bad acting.

Just a reminder: It's on tonight!
Nice cheap movie.
I really enjoyed the dilapidated movie lot.
We also have Deputy Andy (which is a bit newer than his SG:A stint as Major Lorne) and that guy who looks and sounds a lot like Lance Henriksen but isn't. Also the Grandmother looks familar but without an IMDB entry I can only imagine I've seen her in other Canadian/Science Fiction fare.

It was fun watching Felicia kick lots of werewolf butt.
For some silly reason I thought Day's involvement might bespeak higher-than-usual quality, but SyFy seems utterly incapable of making a decent movie. I've rarely had an issue with the acting in Sci-Fi flicks and this is no exception because (almost) everyone did a fine job, but everything else... ooft.
I'm always reminded of the mechanic's sign: "You can have it cheap, fast or good -- pick any two." Just for once I'd like SyFy to go with "good."

Felicia Day's Sci-Fi Channel movie, Red: Werewolf Hunter" has it's air date. October 30th! Set your DVRs! Ms. Day blogged that she hopes it beats out Sharktopus. Let's make it happen!
(yes I know it's "SyFy" but I hate that.)
Interestingly, Felicia is also doing voice work in two video games coming out this month, too. "Rock of the Dead" and "Fallout: New Vegas!"
