Funny story about Secret of Nimh. When I was a weee lad I had a cowboy hat that I wore (I do live in Texas ya know). My dad took me to see Secret of Nimh and there was a bomb threat (Crazy 80s!). Well in the rush I left my hat. I cried and cried until an awesome fireman went in and saved my hat for me. The bomb threat was some jerk that didn't want to work that day, but my dream of becoming a fireman began there.... and ended years later thanks to a couple of trampolines and hyper extension of my knees.

Yay, my first Storm Dragon piece - EVAR!

This is by Ross again. His insanity commissions were a great deal!



The tail is a bit off but everything else is pretty spot on and I really like the scene with the clouds and lightning. All in all I'm very pleased with it, especially as a break in for Storm Dragon art. Now to start queuing up other pieces for him.

I totally love the Storm Dragon piece, GQ!! Gratzzz on the catch!!

Been a while! Holidays kept me busy and now I'm moving from DC to Austin for a new job - NEXT WEEK. EEK!

Anyways I've had this for a while but forgot to share it here.



This is another Enchanter piece and I've gone back to Wansworld yet again. I really like the pose, the colors and the arcane symbols around his hands. Definitely one of my favorites for the Enchanter!

Here's the Goblin Queen piece I've been waiting a long time for! This one is done by Tiwali. I saw a fan art piece of his for Asajj and I was instantly inspired to have a piece for Goblin Queen that utilized a few aspects he used in that painting.

Juan was very receptive to the long list of details I was looking for and worked back and forth with me to get everything I wanted.



The piece has a very high fantasy feel to me that I just love. This painting is just epic and was well worth the wait. I think I may have to inquire about getting the physical copy!

Been away again for some time. Hopefully back for a while! Although I don't have many more pieces being worked on and am about to hit a tightening the belt period with finances. Eh, let's be honest, if I find a good deal then I'll still commission! Haha.

I had asked him which of my characters already on DA would fit best for the FACE series/style and he said the Enchanter was calling to him. I did have to wait a good while but it was worth it. It didn't come out as I was picturing it but all in all I'm happy with it. It's definitely something very different and I'm all for adding varied and interesting artistic styles to my characters.
