Well, I checked four of my favorite sodas.

Mello Yello Afterglow (melon-flavored soda, so smooth). No results.

RC Edge (basically RC with Taurine and Ginseng). No results.

Crystal Pepsi. It said results were found, but showed nothing, no pics or links.

Pepsi Twist (lemon flavored). They have one case, which is out of date, ew. And it's cans, which weren't good in the first place. Bottled was infinitely superior. Edit: Well, they do have something called NFL Kickoff, supposedly the rerelease, but it's still cans, and hella expensive. Yikes. Might have better luck with writing a letter to Pepsi.

Will keep looking. The only other soda I can think of immediately that I miss is Stacker 2's YJ Stinger, the cola flavor was really good. Used to you could buy cases from the manufacturer, but now it's out of stock. And I get no results on a search at that website.

Oh by the way, slightly related. While in Sam's the other day I was intrigued by a case of imported Mexican Coca-Cola. It was only a few dollars more than the regular stuff, but sadly I'm between paychecks and only had enough for what I actually went in there for. Gonna give it a try next week.

I've had the Mexican Coca-cola and it's quite good. The real sugar makes a difference. I've found it in gas stations around here for around $1.20 a glass bottle.

$600 for a 12 pack of Pepsi Blue! Jimminy christmas!

Sigh ... I still miss Surge. Vault's just not quite the same ... and I can't find it easily around here anymore either.

Tell me about it. I almost choked when I saw that they want $22.95 for a twelve pack of Cherokee Red. I can drive to my local supermarket and buy a 2 liter bottle of it for less than 1 dollar. Thank God I live in Pa where it's made.

Don't know if this helps any but according to drinksmixer.com, mixing 2 ounces of Dr. Pepper soda with 4 ounces of amaretto almond liqueur will get you an alcoholic drink that tastes the same as the soda.

Oh that helps lol, but not quite what I look for in a soda lol. I have been meaning to try the recipe though.

I am given to understand that Pacific Northwest Brewing Comp. has the Dr. Nut recipe. I have been meaning to look into that but I get stuck doing other things, like posting.

It doesn't have the abomination known as Orbitz on it. I'm not sure how legit it is.

Whoa hey. $30 for a fridger of my beloved lime coke? Hrm...

Ya know after all these years I'm no longer surprised at what people will do to make money, what always surprises me is that people are willing to pay these prices.

Unfortunately, I have it on good authority (namely, the folks at Canada Dry) that my favorite soda, their Lemon Ginger Ale, has been permanently retired. Not happy.

I'm not a big fan of soda but I've become quite fond of Johhnie Ryan. I'm not sure how widespread it is though.

Somehow, the year Surge came out, someone was able to talk our principal into putting a vending machine near the bandroom...

I'd drink 2 a day back then. Anymore than that and I'd be sick as a dog though.

Ah memories! I didn't even notice they stopped making it.

I recall josta being an intereting flavor back in the day. back then i worked a fairly physical job so i downed several a day, it was kind of a precursor for the taurine and ginseng energy drinks..the sugar was probably not great for me, but dang, the energy rush after the third one in a day had me sprinting the last quarter of my shift.

they were around for a while, as far back as 1999 from what I can remember...can't exactly pinpoint when they started disappearing from the convenience stores. Though I've had the unfortunate experience to taste the tragedy that is/was Jolt Gum...
