On a Sister Psyche TF the other day. We had a mob stuck in a wall. /Petitioned for help and the GM appeared within 5 minutes and pulled the mob out so we could kill it to complete the mission. Professional and courteous.
In the 6 years I've played that was only the second time I can recall that I needed a GM. The first time, 5 years ago, they also appeared in less than 5 minutes to quickly resolve the issue.
Which mission was it? I've had this happen in "Doctor Quantum's Moral Quandary" before. The entire map is clear, Quantum's body has long faded away, and I'm still doing /em boombox in the sewers.
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.
This was the 'Save McHackersmith!" tip mission.

Hmmm. The last time I was involved in anything that needed the help of a GM, it was in the last Halloween Event with the bugged Giant Monster* spawn in Cap, where it would spawn under Aeon City. A GM showed up in time for the assembled teams to get the badge for beating it; she told everyone to get ready and yoinked it out of the ground. Everyone beat the Giant Monster down and cheered the GM. Something like GM Sharon? A female name starting with "S".
* Written out in full because I realized I was writing about a GM helping us beat up a GM.

LETS HEAR IT FOR GM GODFREY!!!!!!! HE'S THE BEST!!!!!
ok, there is no GM Godfrey, well as far as i know, but i felt left out and wanted to join the fun.........
Oh yeah, that was the time that girl got her whatchamacallit stuck in that guys dooblickitz and then what his name did that thing with the lizards and it cleared right up.
screw your joke, i want "FREEM"
I've never had to contact GMs over too many problems in-game (mostly the uncommon bug where you complete a mission, but it doesn't actually complete and you have to re-do it). The few times that I have, the wait has been long enough that I had dealt with the problem myself (generally by re-running the mission) before they showed up.

I've generally had positive experiences with Support. Back in the old days, I'd have to wait for a response for half an hour to 45 minutes, but hey! I was just glad someone could come help me out This was at the time people were talking about response times in EQ being measured in months. At the launch of CoV, I got a bugged mission, but CS were so backlogged it took them two days to tell me it would take them some time to get to me
But that's to be expected.
Minor inconveniences aside, however, CS have been great. Maybe I'm an easy mark, but just being able to ask for help and budge someone off his chair to kowtow to my simple problems still makes me feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside. And their responses lately have been quick, to boot, especially on Stuck petitions. I still remember a whole team of tech support guys taking turns to help me enable 3D sound in the game (ironic, considering I16 disabled it ) and even a guy working his *** off to help me figure out why the Microsoft Language Bar was crashing the game, even though he said it wasn't supported.
Now community reps... Those have been a mixed bag. Everyone seems to love Cuppa, and she did help me out once, but I don't think she ever really did much to enforce the forum rules. Ex Libris tried really hard to be "one of the guys," which ironically makes me cool down on people who try too hard, and she handled the Suggestions and Ideas "problem" incredibly poorly, historically banning jranger. But even in ban and exile, the spirit of /jranger lives on. She could have simply, you know, done her job by moderating, locking threads and deleting posts, but no. Let's ban a bunch of people and make things easier! I don't remember who it was that locked one of my Tech forum threads without actually reading anything past the title and then snobbed me when I complained.
On a more positive (and controversial) note, I loved Lighthouse. When he took over from CuppaJo, plenty of people got burned almost instantly, and I dare say people who should have been burned a long time ago had Cuppa actually enforced the rules. He got a bad rap because he was heavy-handed, but I wouldn't say he was ever unfair. Plus, I loved his SuperMod idea. I really liked Mod8, back when he still posted, for the same reason. It seems that almost every time we get a new mod, he or she will take part in the community, disseminating information, addressing issues and handling problems. Then give them a month or two and they pull back and start only ever posting announcements.
Anyway, that's my story, and I'm sticking to it!
Samuel_Tow is the only poster that makes me want to punch him in the head more often when I'm agreeing with him than when I'm disagreeing with him.

In the past GM response was very good but a few weeks ago I was in the last mission of an Arc that was a defeat all and a mob was stuck in a wall. What stunk is he could attack me but I couldn't attack him (I had no area of effect damage and I couldn't target him).
I petitioned and waited...and waited. Finally I had to give up after 45 minutes (it was late and I had to log). That was my one bad experience with GMs.
Had a good experience in the revised Positron TF (2nd one, I think - whichever one ends with you facing a certain medical professional), and we hit a glitch (I forget what) in one of the missions. The whole team petitioned it, then we thought "Hmmm, maybe we should reset the mission?" which we did, and managed to avoid the glitch.
A couple of missions later (just as we're waiting to face off against the big bad, in fact), a GM appears and asks if we still have a problem. It had been maybe 20 minutes since we sent the petitions.
We said "no", obviously, and invited the GM to stick around while we tried to take out the nasty. Which he did.
Very little chatter, but tbh none of us cared at all - we were having a lot of fun, and the friendly GM was watching an understrength group battering (and getting battered by) a villain.
I have the utmost respect for the GMs - it's a rough job, and if any of them ever feel the desire to pop around wherever I am in-game, I'm always happy to see them.

And here, I thought the thread's title was sarcastic. I was looking forward to replying to a rambling, rage-fueled OP with some sort of snarky picture.
Still, good to hear you got things sorted out!

Was so bizarre, oddly enough, one of the things that made me quit for a while due to how it was resolved.
Different experiences for different folks.
Let's Dance!
Had one run-in with a gm for a petition, and one with customer support regarding an account issue. Got to say, both were handled very well, and quickly too. Unusually good for an MMORPG. I complain at times about things in the game, but it's probably good to point out that in some areas, CoX is really fab.

GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

GM response has been much, much, much quicker than it used to be.
Generally they've responded within 5-10 minutes...only a few times have they passed that mark; comparatively, in the olden times you could go a half hour to an hour of waiting...

Ba-da-duh
Most of my non-game breaking issues have been resolved over email satisfactorily (shout out to GM Lloyd). But my first meeting with a GM was, shall we say, completely freaking awesome.
It's over a year ago, I'm totally new, not even a month of play. I'm wondering around the Hollows busting gangs and for the life of me, can't understand why I have stopped gaining XP. So I page a GM, and wait.
After a few minutes, a POLICE DRONE CAREENS OVER A HILL, slams into me, turns back around, slams into me again, does a few tight circles around me, and then pushes me around a few more times for good measure before coming to a stop, LOLing, and asking me (more seriously now) what the problem was.
After explaining my dilemma, the police drone explained conning, and why all the Skulls, Hellions, Lost and Trolls were now gray. After making sure I was all set, it warmly welcomed me to Paragon, and raced back over the hill.
I've never seen anything like it since. I'll give that GM five stars for awesomeness.

This was about half a year ago and I already forgot the GM's name, but there was this bugged mission door during a Silver Mantis SF that almost ruined our attempt. See, everytime we tried to enter the door, we'd crash.
After two whole-team crashes (and losing two SF members to them), we decided to file a bug report. After a short wait for a GM and quickly explaining the problem to him, he auto-completed the bugged mission for once and we were able to successfully complete the SF.
I've been on several bugged TF's lately. Unfortunately, they've been during peak hours, and the GM's have taken at least half an hour to show up. But they have fixed the problems.
I also recently got to see my first instance ever of a GM actually manifesting in-game. This one appeared as, if I recall right, a woman in a pink scientist jacket, which was hilarious, given the context (which I've also forgotten). I was the only member of the team who noticed her there, too.
