Rats im in the NYC and didnt find out until today and I have things I need to do tonight..
The hard things I can do--- The impossible just take a little bit longer.
If numbers are so much more important than a teammate who is fun to play with, forget about the game altogether and go play with a calculator instead. -Claws and Effect-
The VB panel wasn't nearly as great as usual, and I'm bummed I didn't get here sooner.
Oh well. Here now. B)

Also, is there no NCSoft booth at the actual con? Didn't see it today.
I have a video of the Alpha Strike trailer they showed, but it was shot at a distance so uploading it to Youtube is going to kill the quality. I'm guessing they'll show the same one at the panel tomorrow as well. Or, does anyone know some free software to crop a video on Windows 7?

Post meet stuff:
First and most important. I met War Witch. She hugged me. Four times. Yeah that's right, multiple hugs from War Witch. I almost swooned.
Second, Black Pebble actually took time from his busy schedule to take me around and introduce me to a bunch of people. I am not worthy.
Avatea is really tall. And she was giving away stuff. Thou shalt not give her or her mods grief anymore.
I am sure that there are people that I have not mentioned here. Sorry, I am really tired and there was much drinking done. Did I mention that you got a drink ticket and the bar had top shelf stuff like Makers Mark? So you got it free? And then the drinks you bought were cheap?
Did I mention the tons of swag that was also free? Besides the code for the in game costume there were Lineage t-shirts and buttons and light up buttons and glowy things and flashing buttons and and and...

People won cool video cards in the raffle.
Everyone at the hotel was incredibly nice. And...

Got there around 2:10am and found a half-dozen happy-looking folks near the bar but the DJ had called it quits and the rest of the place was tumbleweeds plus the staff was giving me teh stinkeye.
The space was awesome tho - the basement bar was a balcony overlooking a dancefloor another story down.
Funky lights 'n smoke still sifted up from the floor below. But 'twas done downstairs so I went up to the Art bar for a few.
So sorry I missed the fun heroes.

I looked for you also! I asked lot of people if they saw you and some say yes, others say no, and some asking me, '' Why you looking for philly cheesesteak..'' lol that was cute. But I sorry! I always moving around. I passed out a couple of buttons, couple of necklaces, but I hung out around Avatea, and Black Pebble alot. Mostly near bar with the cute bartender on far right, I love their suspenders! I sometimes hung out with fried-hair jaiko. Other than this I was EVERYWHERE. Until about 2:30 A.M where I pass out in hotel room. I start making way up with some friends. ^.~ <3

Anyway! Was lot of fun, I enjoyed it very much and I cannot waiting to see everyone again at the panel today! Maybe this time I will being able to catch you! If not you can always maybe seeing me at ComicCon, I float around area of AnimeFestival. I going be wearing Three costumes: Custom (COH look), Naminé from Kingdom Hearts, and Night Elf!
If you missing me I sorry, and those who I met that email me I not forget you I will emailing you back I promise. I thank you for such nice comment and I sorry for not staying still.

Last night was awesome! Chatted with WW and Noble savage for about 20 minutes, made my round around the drink table and had a good time with the people that I brought with me, seemed like other gamers waqnted to be by themselves tho.
The only part that icked me was the 4 lonely laptops for CoX...
On a side note, WW reminds me of Gabriel from Zena...OMW to the Con now and will be there for the Panel, might take videos and photos of what is going on!

I wasnt going to go to the M&G since I was coming straight from work downtown but I am so glad I went yesterday! My boyfriend won one of the $500 video cards. He said I could have it since Im the one who dragged him to the event but he needs it more than me. Thanks NCsoft!!

Many of us seemed to slack on the name tag thing...
I was looking for any and all CoH players, and namely ones from this thread, but I only found one or two of you! Although, I did meet many other CoH players in the process.
I had a great time. I mostly (Almost entirely) was in the upstairs area.
Got there and hung out with WW/Melissa and Noble Savage/David and (And Avatea with chocolate and various goodies). Chatted with WW and a bunch of other players for a long time and most of the early part of the night.
We all sat down for a while. I was the guy sitting next to WW on my left and my wife on my right, in case any of you came over when WW and everyone were sitting down.
They are all so damn nice, it is a thrill to get to see them when I can.
It was great to meet Avatea finally. What a sweet and awesome individual! I wish I had gotten to chat more. My wife did, apparently, and was just filling me in a bit, haha
I'm already forgetting some of the names... Two guys from Triumph who were very excited to do CoH dances on the dance floor (And their enthusiasm almost had me joining them... almost, but that's a pretty remarkable feat!).
Was great meeting Transcendent One and Tankette (spelling?), Fulmens and wife (same name as my mother's, but I don't think she had a forum handle), Smeghead and wife (Why doesn't she play, Smeg??), joined in on a great conversation with Hallowed and David, there were a number of guys hanging around talking with WW when I came in, who's names I do not remember... I tried to shake hands and introduce myself to everyone...
Got to spend time with Blacksun17 (Who we met at Boston!) and Charnage and had some fun and occasionally slightly wacky conversations throughout the night!
Blacksun and I were looking for Mishi... We kept looking down at the dance floor and wondering if you were there!
Then we saw a girl up near us, that possibly looked like your forum avatar... So, I began shouting "MISHI!! MISHI!!!" and you/she never turned or reacted... So, I suddenly figured that I had the wrong person and was rudely/oddly yelling "MISHI!!" at them... 
I bet that was you though... I should have walked up, lol.
I had a wonderful time, but after coming home and checking this thread, I am annoyed with myself for not trying harder to find out who other people were and all.
Avatea was there with the name tags and all, so it is not her fault... Some of us just slacked off on that!! And now I do regret it.
Still, I had a great time and want to be adopted by the CoH Team!
And... next time, I will make it a point to try and talk some with Ghost Falcon/Jesse. Each time I've met him, he seems super nice and cool and somehow the nights go by and I find the only other thing I've said to him is goodbyes/goodnights, hehe.
I spotted Black Pebble and he is indeed evil and has the whole team brain-washed with his evil magics. We have begun weaving counter spells in attempts to save our wonderful CoH Team.
May the force be with us all.
Next time... If you see a pale guy with blue eyes and long hair, wearing all black... run up and say HI and tell him to put on a name tag!!!
And I'll shake your hand or give you a hug or tell some sort of joke (And maybe give you a gift).

The Rikti costume power is so incredibly cool. I put a character in inside of the Resistance underground base, facing the entry door, juggling magic balls. People would run by heading to their contact and then come running back to stare for a bit, no doubt confused, then go about their business.
Hi all ! Glad to have met some of you, sorry to have missed others. I got my main issue in front of War Witch, who was very patient with me and my attempt to visually explain the issue in question.
I'm on video- or at least audio- arguing with the "inherent fitness is bad" guy in part 4 of the panel around the 8-9 minute mark.

EDIT: The funniest bit of that little exchange was Avatea's "I don't want to interrupt this, but we only have a few minutes left" - which the Mark III translator would have shown meant "sit down and shut up"

If you're looking for a spot to break out some late night fun, stay after the Meet & Greet or join us starting at 11 p.m. (until 3 a.m.) when we morph the event at Good Units to the NCsoft After Hours Party. Socialize with NCsoft and dance to into the early hours of the morning to New York's hottest live DJ mixes. (Suggested dress is upscale casual.)
I'm at work 'til 1a and don't feel appopriately dressed so will have to run home and change before the After-Hours Party.
But I'll definitely be there at some point before 3a.
For those worried about dress code: I'm very familiar with the Hudson Hotel, been there many times, rang in the New Year there one year.
It's right near Lincoln Center so Friday night you're gonna have a ton of people dressed for the opera/ballet/orchestra. But it's also a hotel, so you're gonna have tourists in shorts 'n sandals wandering around too.
In general it's a pretty hip NYC hangout (there are other bars upstairs (lobby level), and you're gonna see a lot of the young/beautiful set in hip/expensive clothing up there.
Jeans, collared shirt, dress shoes is fine. But I wouldn't do sneakers or t-shirts unless you're sure you're not gonna be leaving the hall. You'll probably get velvet-roped upstairs if you're not looking at least semi-chic.
p.s. IMHO this is a great call for a gathering-place. The Hudson's a really fun place to hang out - I was a regular there back in the day. Be sure to check out the holograms hanging from the ceiling in the lobby, and the Library bar for its 30-foot tall bookshelves and antique (but playable) pool table.
NOTE: the Ocho posted a pic of the front door - what you can't see is an open-flame torch burning bright to the right of the entrance. With no exterior signage, just look for the flame to I.D. the Hudson.
