You can also copy and paste in game using Control+C to copy, and Control+V to paste. Useful in places where the scrolling up option doesn't work; I use it fairly often when mailing items between characters so I don't need to retype my global name a dozen times.

I used to copy and paste my global into emails I was sending myself, but I would finish before the 15 second timer between emails had reset, so now I just type out my global.

It's a pretty typical feature of any command line. It's also a feature of mIRC, and I think Pidgin if you do Shift+Up or Ctrl+Up or something.

You don't need to use command line on Linux these days and it's got a flavour for pretty well everyone, regardless of capability.
