Coolest thing EVER (well not really but...)

I was about to die so I decided to use my self destruct since I had a bounce back insp, so I count down and blow up the resulting xp from blowing away those enemies caused me to level and auto rez with full life and end ...

Any way I thought that was pretty friggin cool

Something similar happend to me once.
I once had a couple of characters level-pacted, doing the rounds of Perez Park. One died, the other went out while animating the Sands of Mu power against a Damned boss. She did enough damage to defeat him, and the resultant XP dinged them both to level 8 and rez'd them simultaneously!

It does happen. Sometimes it doesnt. It works best on teams, where you may not get the last bit of exp from the boom, but then a team-mate gets you the last bit.

When it does sync perfectly, though, it is a very satisfying feeling

I had one of my demons do that when I died. It managed to kill a foe at the same time, thus rezzing me, and we basically mopped up the rest of the group after that. Pretty cool.

(edit: to be clear, I had to resummon them, but I was nigh invincible when I rezzed, and did so surrounded by enemies)

Fun Note:
New character in Praetoria tutorial.

Standing there starting to claim vet rewards, hit the reset keybinds AGAIN for every new character I make (Why can't they fix that yet ), and lastly moving icons to new positions & trays.

Finger slipped while moving Self Destruct and the animation starts.
Goes off smoothly enough...

Apparently there is no hospital building in the Praetorian Tutorial.

First time that has happend for me in a tutuorial and never thought there would not be a hospital.

I've been rezzed by myself... sorta.

Was on my Necro/Dark. Got overwhelmed and ran out of inspirations. I fell and watched as all my minions collapsed, except my ghost! Poor little guy kept plugging away at the last sliver of health on a Lt.
I wasn't even watching my XP bar at the time. Was just about to hit the hosp. button when my ghost dropped the Lt.

Ding!! I was back on my feet with a bang. I was so shocked I had to just stand there and heal my wonderful little ghost, he'd earned it.

I had something cool happen this weekend. I was in an Arachnos base mission, one of the early V-side ones with snakes. In the last room there is a split level with snakes on the upper level. Being lazy, I decided to hit ninja run and leap up to the next level rather than take the ramp... but I misjudged how high I'd jump. I also had a snake targeted, and I had brawl set to auto (to help me build fury in low levels), so as I leaped past this snake, I punched him, spun about to face him in mid-leap, and landed on the pipes up above the snakes, looking down on them. It was kind of an action movie move, completely unintentional but it looked quite cool. ^_^

I love how some things just work out perfectly like that. I tried to get it once, but after I exploded I realized I was still a bar short. :S
One of the most cinematically awesome happenings I can think of would be standing on the ledge of a tall building, and using jump kick to knock off an enemy, which the resulting fall kills.

One of the coolest things ever for me in game was years ago.
Only a few months in for me and I jumped on a random pug in Steel Canyon.

The mission gets set and I start flying towards it. I'm panning my view around (still new and taking in the sights) when I notice another hero
race past me on the ledge of a building. I glance over and watch as they leap off and land on the next building and continue. Then I notice an orange glow zig zagging below me and see the green name, realizing it's one of my team mates racing at super speed. The moment I resume the camera to center a flash appears right beside me, it's another hero spreading his arms and vanishing as quick as he appeared, then bam! He's 10 feet in front of me then 20...

At that moment, with the four of us strangers all using iconic powers to get to the mission. Yeah I was hooked.

Then the leader flew past me.

okay since this has be come a cool things that have happened story thread (and I am glad cause its coolto read) I'll share another one though this is more funny then any thing...

So this was back when Exemplars where distance based (not sure if they are any more its been a while) so if you got out of range of your higher level hero you would drop back down to w/e level you where... well I was on my blaster and flying near what was at one time a 5th colum (now a council) fort with anti air crft guns and I got out of range of the higher level hero the gun fired shot me in the fact my toon did a 450 head over heal flip ending with a face plan in to the ground...

I love it when that happens. I always try it when getting to level 2, easiest way to pull it off. Sucks when it's timed wrong and you just level-die though.

Probably my coolest moment in CoX was my DB/SR scrapper gettting the killing blow on the Honoree and dinging 50 with the exp from him
