Your opinion: where are the peaceful places in Paragon City?

What are the serene, peaceful zones? If your character wanted to meditate, or just kick back and relax, where in Paragon City would they go?

One of my characters has found a spot in Perez that isn't too bad for meditation.

Another uses the underground inlet on Circe Island in Talos (might need to kick some Thorns out of there first though).

And the floating islands in Ouroboros are pretty nice too.

I've found some very surprising places, not far from main PC hubs.

Talos is full of them. I have a few spots in the zone, and even on the main island that work well.

Skyscraper tops in Steel Canyon.

Almost anywhere in Galaxy.

The Arenas. Especially the doors opposite the main hub of the zone. (Northern entrances of Talos Arena for example)

An easy way to find one is to look at your maps. Any dark areas on your zone map? Odds are they are dark for a lot of people. That's where you will find quiet spots.

Ok I'll cave, the beach in Talos at the pier is pretty nice. Founders Fall can be enjoyable as well because it reminds me of Venice. Trying to think of other places I found way back when but it's taking me time to remember it all.

Talos is good, some great coves. Theres a great little hidden pool at the bottom of a waterfall in Eden.

This. Comfortable chairs and low tables, and a half-decent view out of the windows.
The lighting's pretty good as well.

Places I've used in the past as points of meditation:

  • The floating islands in Ouroboros.
  • A couple of the islets south of Peregrine Island.
  • The tops of many skyscrapers all over the city.
  • The park area with the statues on the far side of Founders' Falls.
  • Some of the caves in the islets north of Talos Island.

Where do we go from here?

Talos is full of places that are great. That said many of my characters prefer King's Row rooftops.

My blaster tends to hang out in Perez Park's "maze", and the few forested areas of the Hollows.

He may have to arrest the occasional CoT mage, but that's just picking up the trash.

I tend to just hover high above the city when I need space for contemplation...of course if you do not fly; I agree with most of the others here that Talos has some lovely spots.

Agreed with everything people have said so far. And I'll add one more I found recently: at the foot of the large apartment buildings in Brickstown in front of the tram, there are a few walled-in grassy areas with a single concrete bench. Kind of a little urban hideaway that seemed peaceful to me.

Reminded me of that one bench area from the second(third?) Matrix movie where Neo meets with the Oracle. Bad movie, nice spot.

Running around The Hollow's where the park is is pretty neat too. Unfortunately plenty of CoT as well >_<

The catacombs in Dark Astoria is one of the most peaceful spots in the game for me; it's tucked away from any sort of enemies beneath a hall of rock with angel statues guarding either entrance. The already eerie quiet coupled with the inactivity of the zone make it perfect for solemn meditation.

There are a few courtyards in Steel Canyon that are beautiful and sparsely populated as well. Most of them are overlooked by characters who have travel powers.
