Trash Talk
I made this one a couple of months ago for the closed beta, but as that section's now been wiped away forever, I'll repost it here, because it's Resistance-themed, even if it doesn't use Resistance-speak

Oh man I wish I could make comics like that.
Golden Girl, we need to find some way of your persona and my Emperor Cole Interpretation to work together for some reason. Not sure what. It just needs to happen.
Also, "They're not even full-sized people" has got to be one of the best lines I've heard on these forums. Ever.
*applause for Golden Girl*
Fantastic cartoon. I just get worried, because as I recall, someone reported "One odd fleyrod is out of skew on treadle!" and nobody knew what he was saying and the next thing you know, there was the Spanish Inquisition, which, needless to say, nobody expected. |
Warning:
The above post may contain Cynicism, sarcasm and/or pessimism. If you object to the quantities contained, then tough.

Golden Girl, you haz skillz. This, too, is hilarious.
Ol' Calvin does not appear to be particularly Silver Age, does he?
"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"
"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."
*more applause*

I love the comics.
Oh, and forget the Resistance - just what is it that Penelope Yin is talking about? Teddy bears, Glowball, Mirror Kingdom, Black Knights... and my name is not Rusty! (OK, I really did figure it out, no spoilers, but she still makes about as much sense as Ricochet).
Together we entered a city of strangers, we made it a city of friends, and we leave it a City of Heroes. - Sweet_Sarah

Governments have fallen to the power of social media. Gaming companies can too.
I'm not even sure he's moral enough to be post-modern.

The short answer?
No.
The long answer?
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooo.
O.O
Go Resistance?
Edit: I am now ready to petition to wear Resistance Towels as capes.
Yer killin' me, Golden Girl, killin' me I say!
*thunderous applause*
The Resistance towel was such a nice little touch.
Skillz, you haz them.

My theory on why the Resistance talks the way they do: it's code. If they blatantly said "We're gonna kidnap a few notable PPD officers and lock them in a warehouse and detonate bombs," wouldn't that plot be foiled before you had a chance to read this post? That is why they use their code. Secrecy. Lots of resistance/underground movements used it in the past.
to TO THE END!
Villains are those who dedicate their lives to causing mayhem. Villians are people from the planet Villia!

A Seer will Red Alert when she reads: "We plan to kill police officers."
She'll get hungry when she hears you plan to "Chomp blueberries".
So two have spotted the towel, but no one's spotted the paper yet?

I believe you meant 'Cabbage crates coming over the briny'. (about 2 mins 30 seconds in)

Another deft comedic touch, sorry it had to be pointed out to me. But it is quite amusing.

LMAO at GG! Keep 'em coming!
(Only... possibly not quite so wide? Mercy for the laptop crowd?)
The Abrams is one of the most effective war machines on the planet. - R. Lee Ermy.
Q: How do you wreck an Abrams?
A: You crash into another one.
I vaguely assume that all resistance are really cockney british.

Seriously, watch Hellsing Ultimate. The accents are hilarious. Still a great OVA, but Alexander Anderson is mean to be Irish, yet he sounds Scottish XD I lol'd
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

Love how ya did the Resistance armour. One pointer, though, be careful with your own face. Sometimes it ends up looking older than I think your aiming for. That, and isnt the hair meant to be blonde?
