Patch notes for build 1850.201007290124.19T2.

COMBINED

Alignment System

  • Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented Alignment powers and badges from being granted properly after the 7 day wait.

CITY OF HEROES
  • None.

CITY OF VILLAINS
  • None.

PRAETORIA
  • Precinct 5 tutorial: Removed the self-rez power from the Target Dummy Clockworks. They will now respawn when destroyed. They were taking a step each time they self-repaired, eventually wandering far from where they were supposed to be.
  • Precinct 5 tutorial: Fixed a bug that would sometimes grant Kalinda as a contact to new Praetorians.
  • Precinct 5 tutorial: If you somehow manage to die in the tutorial and select ‘go to hospital’, you will resurrect next to Officer Flint.

Actually finding where the clockwork are has consistently been the hardest part of the tutorial for me. Thanks for the fix.

There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. If you're Unleashed, I'm dumps. I'll try and get registered on the Titan Forums as well. Peace, and thanks for the best nine years anyone could ever ask for.

And don't forget that accidental "Ooops! I hit the Self-destruct" while moving it and since it doesn't have an INTERRUPT *eh hem*.. Yes, dying isn't that rare.

That's what 'Right Click' 'Remove from Tray' prevents.

Yes but removing it from the tray means you have to fiddle to transport to hospital - self destruct is a good travel power!!!!

Yes, gee thanks. I know that. But sometimes my laptop is fiddly with buttons. Accidents happen. Still doesn't excuse the fact the power isn't interruptable.

Agreed. It needs a self destruct authorization code like Star Trek

I just move it to Tray 9, where I keep a lot of non-combat powers. I put it in the third slot; so in order to use it I need to first switch the bottom tray from 1 to 9, then move the pointer and click. Since I started putting it there I don't think I've ever done it accidentally.

Huh, when did that get changed? At one point in beta, it was impossible to die in the tutorial. You'd hover around 1 HP, but never actually expire. Self Destruct couldn't kill you, either. I thought it was a good idea, myself.

Not sure, but when I went to scoot it, I clicked it instead and wound up dead... and in Nova Praetoria without the choice to go Resistance.
Thankfully it's fixed.

I managed to hit it and auto rezzed... on Tuesday I think.

LOL, change that timer from 10 seconds to 10 minutes then to get all the codes in! Also would only be usable on teams of three

I'd hate it to be interruptable, then I wouldn't be able to click it just as I was going to die and whallop my slayers with an exploding corpse (as I did last night, +2 Syndicate on a 6 man team hurt)

I accidentally killed myself with self-destruct in the tutorial. I forgot I had that power. I've never actually slotted it before.
