I will also join the channel after the downtime. Just hope its not the full 5 hours.

I would say 4 SGs as well because it allows flexibility.

I personally will probably be sticking with my main SG on Defiant but knowing if I want to go accross to another server for a visit then that is cool.

But I love the idea of having the Europe United channel that is there for everyone to talk through so events can be advertised accross all the servers. It may encourage people to be more fluid about which server they play on. I think that is the most important thing.

Also a thought - would it be worth asking RoguesRadio.com to advertise this project?

Well, you already know I'm all for 4 SGs on 2 servers.

i'll be joining the channel next i log on. I would be game for the 4/2 SG layout, though I would likely never used the villain SG, since going villain for me would be a passing thought towards getting a PPP if it worked out better than an APP I would mostly occupy the hero ones.

Add another vote for the 4 SG option. I tend to play on Union most but I’d love to jump the gap more often to play on Defiant with our brothers in arms. Badgehunting runs
PvP Arena matches

I’d happily participate in any of the above and more (even if I do get my *** kicked in PvP lol). Some board presence is always good, perhaps some banners for signatures if people want to voluntarily put them in. I could probably knock something up if we needed them.

Perhaps something else to consider is a ‘uniform’ of sorts. I know this always causes problems so it could be entirely voluntary, but if we came up with a colour scheme, pattern and emblem, then people could use them in any way they liked on their costume. Sounds lame perhaps, but seeing colour co-ordinated groups always catches my eye. Again, maybe a challenge for those of us who love the costume creator.

As for side switching, once I have my Brute blueside and my Blaster redside, I doubt I’ll be using it very much outside of roleplay which I’ll do within my own RPSG. I expect I might move some other characters to Vigilante/Rogue as well just to be able to take part in both sides but I have no intention of leaping back and forth across the divide every few weeks.

Right, from what I have seen, (very quick info-gathering) there is a preference of European Confederation and European Syndicate.

Also from those who replied it was most important to have 4 sg's on 2 servers.

I thus grabbed the names on both Union and Defiant. (With some low lvl oooold characters)
So when you want to be invited to the SG, start posting here or give me a global tell in-game.

Things yet to do:
Get a few people with OP Status in the Global channel.
Get a few people with recruitment status in each of the 4 groups.

Things we all can do:
Ponder and decide on what kind of supergroup Emblem we shall have.
Ponder and decide what SG colors Hero and Villain side shall have. (Currently it is all black since I was in a rush to get the names)

Well since i'll be on everyday A LOT from tuesday onwards and keeping a pure buffer in praetoria for teams [havent decided on powerset yet], i dont mind putting my name forward for a channel OP.

I think i can provide a good constant supply of invites/advertising

I'll try playing tonight... Internet is a bit wonky so I'm not sure how well it will work.

I didn't get much time to play today, but a quick visit to Praetoria showed a very busy server - which is nice to see. For a reportedly dwindling number of players, it was good (in a way) to see the server status for Union at 3 red pips when I logged on. Something I don't think I've seen for some time now.

Back on topic - just adding another vote for 4/2 sg approach. (Although I admit I'm running late here )

Liking the 4/2 approach, and I will be joining the chat channel eventually! Probably about two weeks for my new pc to be in place (my 6 year veteran PC sort of died).

A few players have already agreed and an alt to help with recruitment to these sg's (as fast as possible) they are (Beside me)

Defiant Villain: Mega Jamie, Mr Mac. , Dante
Union Hero: Mega Jamie, Mr Mac. , Dante, Damz, Orion Star
Union Villain: Mega Jamie, Mr Mac. , Dante, Orion Star

Still unsure about our French and German brothers and sisters, I hope we will see them joining with us as well.

Hopefully we will get more players in as both recruiters and members.

Do feel free to advertise about the channel and the sg project, however please get the operators blessing before you advertise in the channel they mod on.
(Like showing them what you want to say.)

Orion Star has volenteered to make a social group on the forum. Where we can discuss things like...

More about sg policy, eventual rules (more input is always wise), Sg colors, Base theme, (When it is time) Architects, eventual webpage should we need more then a forum... etc..
Some of the above thoughts may not be needed, some would be needed and some are not needed in a while.

Wow, seems I'm very late to the party! But as a player on 3 of our servers I really think it's a great idea and hope for good attendance.

I'll join the global channel this evening and am likely to start in Praetoria, so no SG for me...yet. I actually have no recollection which of my existing chars is without an SG so I'll have to check everyone manually.

From the numbers on Zukunft (before I18/GR hit the servers) I would guess that many players have already migrated to the 'english' servers. I'm not sure if posting on the German part of this forum makes much sense - last post there is 3 weeks old. Might still do it if I come around to it.

Right, Zukunft now has the 'European Confederation'. Eventually I will set up the 'Syndicate' villain-side but I haven't got a char without a VG right now.
If you want to join it's best to try here or via PM as my gaming schedule is kinda off at the moment. Be advised though that server and client will give you a mix of English and German. Also, don't expect stuff like HeroStats to work properly for pretty much the same reason.

Have we decided on colours and symbol yet?
