AVs - Scrappers and brutes. Maybe Stalkers and tanks.
GMs - Nobody.*
Not without nukes, shivans, HVAS, a stack of envenomed daggers, and a truckload of insps.

Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.
Shield/Dark and Shield/Fire Tankers are confirmed AV soloers
Dark/Ninjitsu Stalkers can do a few of the weakest AVs
The best melee AV soloers are Brutes and Scrappers though

HEATs I think it would be easier on a PB because of not needing a constant flow of dead bodies to fuel yourself. If built for ranged defense, and using whatever a PB's best attack chain is, I think it could be done. I really want to see someone try it.

I've soloed a couple of AVs with my Widow. As for my PB, I really want to get her to the point she can, but my extreme hatred of melee KB keeps me from leveling her.

For brute and scrapper, any suggest to the powersets?
Dark or Fire primaries with Shield (expensive) or SR (cheap) secondaries.

And I've seen a troller solo all three Paladins in the park together (without separating them). Ill/Storm, I think it was.

I could see a non-debuffer killing the KR version of Paladin, I think it only has like 5800hp, so regens like 30 hp/sec. Yes your damage scales while fighting it, but given that my ill/cold killed it in like 2.5min I could see a scrapper taking it out. The cut off point is probably around Babbage as higher lvl GMs just have too high regen rate. So probably the GM's that occur at lvl 20-25+ aren't happening.

There was a regin scrapper who used to solo babbage all the time back before ios. Its wasn't me personally but I did see it done.

I think the OP is asking about what builds CAN do it, not what builds could do it once upon a time when our computers were made out of wood

Yep.
I have a Dark/Nin already at 40 something. Perhaps I may give it some TLC slotting.
I would very much love to try dark/ fire/ with /SR. I used to have both once; just did not have the feeling that I like them. I though have a 30 something dark/shield brute. Could start with that.

Yep, that DM/SD Brute is your best bet for AV soloing.

Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.

Just saw some one say 'GMs - Nobody' so I wanted to point out that some body can.
I had been able to make headway with my Fire/SR scrapper against Adamastor once, but gave up because he kept running away and I didn't feel like chasing him any more. Such is the life of a Fire/SR =( So uber even GMs feel the need to run away.

Just want to know which melee AT(s) and power combo can solo an AV and a GM?
Seems so much AV/GM soloing can be done by some ranged AT. I am not sure which melee AT can do the job too.
