I was just wondering if anyone had a list of stores that carry CoH Game Time Cards. Thank you!

Sorry, I should probably clarify something. I live in Canada. Do any stores in Canada carry these cards?

I can't ever find any even in the U.S. Sure, there's places that they SAY have game cards, but they've never actually had any in my area that I could find when I went looking.

Dec out.

Walmart, EB Games and Gamestop in Canada carry them, but only the 60 day cards these days, and not every store has them.

EB games has shipped some in for me when I asked in the past.

A little note on Walmart (not sure on EB/GS). I'm not sure if all Walmarts in Canada carry them, but my local store has both the 60 day CoH time cards as well as 30 day NCSoft time cards. The NCSoft cards can be used for CoH, Lineage or Aion.

Thanks very much

I actually saw some CoX time cards last week at a local gas station, of all places.

I get mine at Best Buy.

But just so you know...

Question: Can I use a City of Heroes Game Time Card for a City of Villains, Lineage, or Lineage II account?

Answer: Although they are labeled for specific games, PlayNC/NCsoft game time cards are usable on any of our games. However, you must use a game time card specific to the territory of your game account. You can use a City of Heroes, City of Villains, Lineage, Lineage II, or generic PlayNC/NCsoft Game Time Card for any of those games. For example, you can use:
  • A City of Heroes Game Time Card on a Lineage II game account
  • A Lineage II Game Time Card for a City of Villains game account
  • A City of Villains Game Time Card for a Lineage game account
  • Any combination therein
Please keep in mind that once a game time card has been used, the game time applied cannot be transferred to another account. The game time provided by a single game time card cannot be split between multiple game accounts. Additionally, once registered, the game time cannot be paused or stopped. It will expire after the included prepaid game time has been used, whether the account has been used or not.

NOTE: Game cards are not the same as game time cards. Game cards can only be used as indicated on the packaging.
This is from NCSoft's Support.

I seem to be having this problem too, in lieu of the time cards I went ahead and bought a copy of the game for $20 thinking the serial code in there would give me a month of play since that's all I wanted at first. Little did I know this was "bonus time" that gets tacked onto my account after I pay for a month, but can I even do that? no...I can't. And why? because the damn cards are nowhere to be found!

Has anyone (in Canada) tried to pay with a pre-paid Mastercard from Money Mart and succeeded? Please tell me if this would work cause I'm not going to put money on the card if NCSoft doesn't accept those, that would just be a waste of yet more money.....

A buddy of mine did exactly this and it worked just fine. I don't think there is actually any difference at all from the vendors perspective about these, your bank can offer you a "secured" creditcard and thats actually almost identical. Pre-paid cards are still mastercards and they work just like them, except you pump them full of money first. So they aren't really "credit" cards, but a compatibility tool

I usually get time cards from Amazon. $20-21 for two months, which is a nice price.

As far as I know you can't get CoH Game/Time Cards anymore. You have to get an NCSoft Game Card.
I was able to order one off Amazon, but the main page of this site has a link that tells you what stores carry them: http://us.ncsoft.com/en/gamecard/

I just saw the 30 day NCSoft Time Cards at my local Best Buy for $15 a pop plus tax.

There are 15/30/60-day NCSoft Time Cards, and there is a 30-day CoH Game Card.

The Game Card is markedly different from the Time Card (even the 30-day one). For one, the Game Card costs $5 extra. It can also be used to start a new account (where Time Cards may only add time to an existing account), and for the duration of the card, all of your characters have an exclusive flight pack.

Fry's Electronics, Gamestop, 7-11 (not sure if they still do, or not), and sometimes Target is where I usually find them.

Places like Best Buy seem to have 'forgotten' about PlayNC time cards altogether, in exchange for WoW time cards. But, with GR having just come out, there may be hope at Best Buy in the Dallas area.
