See...the whole alternate/mainline universes parallels something that I believe is a reality. I hesitate to use the word "soul" for the religious connotations and baggage, but if we do indeed have something like that, then it is conceivable that it stretches across universe boundaries. If so, then we could potentially tap into the memories of those other uses. Possibly through extreme trauma or emotional distress.

Things like deja vu aren't really, but rather knowing that some part of us, in another universe, already experienced that.

Ya, it's kinda a ridiculous belief, but I likes ta dream.

Okay, Juliet/Sawyer officially broke the dam of tears that has been building up.

Uh, oh. That means the Sideways world has always been full of dead people.

Which means the Ajira flight leaving the Island (with Sawyer, Kate, etal) crashed and burned......

Jack's gonna stumble out of the bamboo into the middle of the Ajira crash.

Maybe they all died in the original crash?? The island was some sort of Purgatory or way station, maybe.

Edit: Liked the flashback to the original wreckage encampment at the very end.

The flash-sideways was Purgatory. They waited for each other.

No, it just means that when the people on the plane eventually die, they'll meet everyone. The Sideways place exists outside of time.

No, Christian said that everyone dies eventually. Some died before him, some long after. Plus, Hurley said to Ben "You were a great number 2." and Ben said he was an amazing number 1, which means they were Jacob and Richarding it up for awhile.

That was a sad ending...and also confusing.

What did it mean when Ben said he wasn't going to go inside is the main thing that bothers me.

Charlie Claire- tears
Sayid Shannon- pleasant surprise....tears
Sawyer Juliet- oh yeah big time tears
Jack flashing on the casket- little tears realizing it was almost over
Ending- tears just drying now.

Great ending. Great show. Maybe the best television series ever. I'm profoundly satisfied.

You were a great #2.

You were an amazing #1.

That's what it looked like to me. Although what Jack's dad said that some people die early or later makes me wonder if they were survivors and somehow the crash of Oceanic 815 was the thing that tied them all together.
