I like this pic and another one I found of Christian opening the church doors. They allow me to take something from the finale and aren't spoilerly without knowing the characters and the context of the shot, since they are kinda "fuzzy."

Interesting "contradiction" in Lost: When Kate, Sayid, and Locke capture Mikhail, Kate asks about the lists the Others seem to make and why they weren't on them. Mikhail answers along the lines that Jacob would not want them because they are flawed.
Which, ironically, is exactly why Jacob DOES want them as candidates.
Deeper reasoning? Maybe the Lists weren't from Jacob, but rather from MiB who wanted to leave the flawed characters alone so that they could kill each other.

Nah, either subterfuge or another case of a follower of Jacob not nowing jacksquat about what is going on. It's not like Jacob was ever transparent about anything.

For some reason, I've been remembering a lot of Season 3 lately.
Like, when Young Ben told Richard that he was seeing his dead mom on the Island, Richard specifically asks if his mom died on the Island. Which is yet another clue that the Monster could take the form of people who died (or had their dead bodies) on the Island. I wonder if Ben's mom had died on the Island and Ben was seeing her, if Richard would have rejected Ben's "Specialness."
Season 3 was of course also the season where we learned that Yemi Vision and Smokey seemed to be connected.

edit - Not that this upsets me too much, tiny plot holes like this are bound to pop up no matter how well a series is written. Just one disadvantage of not being able to write your whole story at once.

He can take the form of other dead people, like Isabella and Ben's mom, but they are only "figments" of their target's imagination. So Smokeybella was how Richard would think of her and Ben's mom is how he thinks of his mom and who she would act, etc. It would explain why Ben's mom looked like Alice in Wonderland and was wary of crossing over the sonic fence. Also can be why he scans people: he wants to see who he can appear to them as without their bodies being around. So Richard was wondering if Momma Linus was the Smoke Monster trying to infiltrate Dharma by using her memories and life to his advantage, or just a parlor trick of Smokey.

"Lost Revised" aims to edit out sideways plot from Season 6
Y'know, I am not totally against this idea. While I loved the sideways story, for people who complained about its resolution, this will allow them to focus on the Island stuff and realize, yes, we did get a lot of answers.
Here are the first two episodes, edited
I don't expect ABC to be too happy about it though.
