Toxic Tarantulas blueside?

Are there any locations that reliable and at least regularly, if not frequently, spawn Toxic Tarantulas for heroes? I used to be able to find a few in Sirens Call every play session, but lately I'm lucky to find one for every 45 minutes or so I'm in there. And now that I'm almost done with my Warrior bosses badge, I will not be needing to visit Sirens regularly in the future.

Thanks for any suggestions.

If you don't mind PvP zones, and are at least level 40, you can also find some in Recluse's Victory. Or, if you'd rather not hang out in the PvP zones, you can find some in the Bulge and Pavia neighborhoods in RWZ. Both of those zones, though, are going to be dependent on the size of teams that are hunting them. Getting a full team together will make the bosses spawn more regularly.

The method that I think is used the most, and is the most reliable, however, is to just farm the first mission of the STF. It shouldn't take more than a few runs with a full team.

Oh, the other option you could use is to run missions in Warburg. Toxics will sometimes spawn as the final boss in missions, and they'll still count even if they're just Lieutenants.

The NE corner of Siren's also spawns them, occasionally. They'll also sometimes show up in the zone battle there as well.

Arachnos radio missions as well, which might be quicker if you're just looking for toxics, as you can just run to the end room and clear it, unlike Warburg missions where you have to defeat all to move on to the next.

But as Blondeshell said, the first mission of the STF is best.

Toxic's wander around Warburg also, they're not just inside missions. I've gotten a few on the streets. There are many more in Recluse's Victory though.

But they didn't count for the badge. Next time you see a Toxic Tarantula in Warburg, check the faction. The ones outdoors in Warburg are listed as 'Rogue Arachnos' and do NOT count toward the badge.

I don't know WHY, but lots of people can verify this and it says so right on the ParagonWiki page about the Venomous badge.

I need the RV time spent badge as well, so maybe I'll try hunting them there next.

I never found (m)any in the RWZ and I knew the ones outdoors in Warburg didn't count, which is a shame since other than Grandville that's where they're most plentiful in the game.

The easiest is to hit the RWZ when a MS raid is going on. The large number of characters in zone will increase the number of bosses spawned.

That's sad.

I've been doing a combo of Arachnos Radio missions, and searching the RWZ.

I got it in RWZ as well. Took forever. My route is in purple below. Worked for me. I would get about 1-3 in a loop. Not much I know. Like I said, it took me forever.

Started looking for them in RV, realized capturing pillboxes wasn't as hard as I thought, and started doing that instead of looking for Toxic Tarantulas.

It's a little too late to pick it up this year, but if have DJ Zero as a contact or can find someone who does, I found that the valentine's event mission is pretty good for farming Toxics.

Just set the team size to x7 or x8 and do a quick pass of the map. It's a fairly small map with lots of arachnos spawn points, and there is consistently a random boss at each on the right settings. Avoid Snaptooth, make a circuit around it checking all the points, take out any toxics, then head back to the boat and reset. Even better on a team.

Like LeBlanc, I did the same area near Hospital/Old Zone entrance - with my lvl 50 I made some "kill all" passes eventually widening my radius - by the time i made my 3rd-4th pass almost all Arachnos spawns had Toxic Tarantulas - It was long - but what I did to break the monotony was to only do 10-15 TTs a day before joining a PuG or doing missions/TFs - you'll have it in no time

Street hunting Toxics blue side is the second worst way to do it. The worst is doing solo arachnos missions level 40+.

The two best ways are the Statesman Task Force, and the 5th Column (Dr. Khan) TF. Statesman being a bit better for it. The first mission in each has a bunch of Toxics in them.

I agree, SnowGlobe, It is one of the worst ways to get TTs - However, assembling a team of badge-hunters (in my experience) to farm a TF, especially for TTs, resulted in wasting more time that I had available (8 hrs). I joined STFs to get more TTs as they are throughout that particular TF, but I have to commit to finishing the TF because I couldn't just quit on the team. So I'll say this: To "casually" hunt TTs I would choose RWZ...

Also,
The worst way, to me, is trying to get them in RV when it's villain-heavy
then Warburg...

Snow Globe is right though -- just do the STF over and over for the hami-Os and you'll end up with the badge soon enough.

I got the badge on accident with my STFer quicker in time invested than I did on my badger actively working street-sweeping.

Join your server's badge channel. I know that Triumph Watch has done them in the past, when you had to get 200 of the Toxics. Now that it is 50, it shouldn't be a problem to do 3-5 runs of the first mission. Or if you try to get the Master of Statesman or Master of the 5th Column, I'm sure you will have more than enough tries to get the Toxics before those two.

Yes, hunting them in Warburg would be, by far, the worst way to do it.....
... since those are 'Rogue Arachnos' and don't count toward the badge.

The Oro TF with the Jade Spider (or whatever it is) also has a lot of Toxics. I never really hunted them with my badger, but he got it just from doing that TF and the States a couple times, I think.

A few runs on the statesman taskforce got me the badge. And a lot merits, too.

I did it in less than an hour. Hunting in PVP zones is the worst way no matter what because of the PVP restrictions. Depending on your Archetype, set for -1\x8\NO BOSSES doing radio missions in PI (assuming you're level 50). You can burn through them as Lieutenants and still get credit as long as they're "Toxic Tarantulas". If you have friends hunting with you, I suggest you spawn the map first SOLO, THEN invite them that way you guarantee yourself no bosses. Bosses will just take longer to kill. Hope you have fun.

This would be the Mender Silos TF, and it's also how I got the badge. Not sure how it stacks up against the STF or Kahn for speed, but it's certainly better than street sweeping or radios.
