Well I hope theres some coustume pieces missing from the live version of the game and when GR go live(or maybe in beta pretty please) that costume is gonna look better with new costume pieces. Cause to be honest that boss is uglier then the ugliest merit vendor, and those guys are Random Button ugly.

I mean that boss makes the merit vendor in Bricks look sexy.

So, let me get this right...

On our Earth, the Clockwork are Cute Rusty Windup Toys of Death. In Praetoria, they are Sleek Sexy Maintenance Drones of Death?

to TO THE END!
Villains are those who dedicate their lives to causing mayhem. Villians are people from the planet Villia!

If you check the city terminals you can see all the GR enemy groups. Think iirc there is 3 or 4 different clockwork types.

Wonder which one these are!

Also i just wanted to say "sometimes there are ghosts in a machine"

@Damz Find me on the global channel Union Chat. One of the best "chat channels" ingame!

Yep, I remember getting the romans in a couple of my old paper missions before that issue went live. One of them was filled with allies and auto completed when I got near the end boss.

The Clockwork King only has eyes for Penny.

Dec out.

Yes, because Praetoria is an alternative universe, not a mirror universe

/cracktheory The Clockwork King is Penny's real father. Both are powerful psychics, the CK is obsessed with protecting her, refers to her as his Clockwork 'PRINCESS', not 'Queen', we don't really know what CK looked like before his accident, and Mr. Yin strikes me as a suspicious fellow. (Seriously, why does an Asian grocery store need to sell clothing and all those weapons?)

That's actually not entirely unlikely. It would really depend upon when Blue Steel *ahem* encountered the Clockwork King when he was still human. He is depicted during that event as being a young man, but he may have had time to get his groove on and make a Penelope.

The bolded part definitely seems like something a father would say to his daughter.

Well, yeah, but who doesn't? Even Chuck Norris looks up to Blue Steel.

Wow. I never considered that possibility. Makes a lot of sense, though.

There's an entry for WarWorks, bet they'll be interesting. I'm guessing clockwork built specifcally for military operations.

It is better to ask forgiveness than permission.

I am always amused when I enter a really old newspaper mission (often a grab the glowie from the Hellions or Skulls), and find the warehouse or cave is totally empty, except for the glowie.

It's like the bad guys got bored waiting so long for me to show up that they all decided to go hang out at Pocket D or something and just forget about whatever it was they were guarding.

I'd thought of something similar too - like I'm totally not getting a sexual vibe from the Clockwork King talking about Penny - it's just an insanely possessive vibe, without even any twisted sort of romantic feelings.

Mind you, I like the theory either way, it's just that casting doubt on Mr. Yin rubs me the wrong way from a narrative perspective.
Well I'm not saying he's evil, he could be good and be keeping it a secret (at the very least from us, Penny may actually know herself), just because he's afraid folks like Longbow would misunderstand.

Also, part of why I like my theory is not just bias, but because it allows me to imagine the Clockwork King kind of turning into a Batman the animated series Mr. Freeze figure.

Although, as she's the easter egg queen, so I'm kinda listening for secret hints in most things that she says
"They're very nasty when they want to be" or "they're 100% loyal to emperor Cole" or "Praetorian CW; they're somethin' else"? None sound unusual at all, in context.
