Why can't Mastermind's rez their henchman?
I imagine it's because rez powers can only be used on players (I'm guessing, I don't know for sure). Besides, just resummon if one dies, easy as that. If they die again before the summon recharges, that's a pretty good sign you bit off more than you can chew.
I'd blow up so many things on a /thermal MM with RotP if you could use it on a pet.

Instead ATs with pets "re-summon pets" when they fall in battle.
I'm sure you would like to be able to use "Twilight Howl" to suddenly rez a room full of dead mastermind pets, but ...
Actually I would like to know, too. It's not that I want devs to allow us to rez our pets; I'm just wondering why can't why. Would it be broken if we could and in each way? Or is it just for technical reasons, as it would require new coding for rez powers?
Because Twilight Howl would make us overpowered.

Where to now?

I wish we could, then I'd actually take rez powers besides Howling Twilight.

Just consider re-summoning to be rezzing.
Also, think of Howling Twilight as an auto-hit aoe high-mag stun...with the side effect of mass rezzing your team. I'd really recommend taking it and slotting for recharge.

Vengeance is the real issue here. If you an rez something you can target it's body for Veng and that woul be ridiculously OP.
hmm...rez powers specifically say allies to whereas Vengeance states it needs to be a teammate and pets don't count towards that.
howling Twilight, Vengeance, Fallout lots of reasons only players are targetable. Hell they had to even make players untargetable from the self-destruct power to prevent exploitation.

I actually would like to see rezzes do SOMETHING to pets. Not necessarily to resurrect them, but to do SOMETHING. Give me a reason to take them on a Mastermind, at least. It doesn't have to be a good reason. Just a little excuse. I mean, I take Confront and I keep telling myself it's useful for stopping runners, so you can see how little I need.

Rezzing a pet would be somewhat redundant.

So you can rez your non-pet, "actual" team mates?
PS: Curses! I thought I had turned this into a "Twilight Howl Rulez" thread!

Expending a power choice on taking a rez lets your team know that they can be more aggressive. More aggressive players kill stuff faster. Dead stuff doesn't kill people.
So taking a rez stops you from needing a rez.
Edit : To the OP.
The same reasons as last time you asked.
So anyway that is the question...
Why can't Mastermind's use rez powers - if they have one - on their own henchman pets?
I can see how it makes sense for normal tempary pets not to be rezzed but henchman summoned by Masterminds are like having 3 hands, they are there to help and make life easier because they are a part of you... litrally.
So why can't the Mastermind AT be allowed to bring back their own henchman pets seconds after they get killed? Its really a bummer...
