Also, if I might make a suggestion.
When you are sending items you really care about, send them directly to your own global instead of sending them to a character name.
This way you can actually confirm the item has been received instantly, on the character you just sent it from.

The outfit discrepancy is irritating, for instance the baron boots not being available for females nor things like cigar, tattooed arms & t-shirt etc..

I caught the messages about channels rejoining, etc. but did not link this to email activity and my problem until thinking it all through again much later.
EDIT: Support was very helpful. I got my stuff back.
