(CO sucked... got bored.. got COH on a good sale and decided to test it out. Gameplay is more consistant. I am a roleplayer and find this game suits RP better.) |
Never play another NcSoft game, If you feel pride for our game, then it as well, I Superratz am Proud of all of you Coh people, Love, Friendship will last for a lifetime.

Dear OP, please post your man-feelings here in a week, a month, and a year. We'd like to check retention rate and get an idea of why we drive people away screaming.
Well I must thank you for the compliment, but I don't think Knight would look good in a miniskirt... he is British, not Scottish.

Welcome to the Game Knights Reach, if you need a hand Task Force UK (and all of my characters) reside mainly on virtue to with the undercover branch, The British Maulers based in the Rogue Isles.
Look forward to seeing you in game.
Also just an tip, as well as joining the RP channels, Join the Badgers and TF channels on Virtue. Not much RP goes on on the Task Forces they run, but if its a badge and merits your after they're your people.
For Queen and Country
To (not-quite) quote the recent Doctor Who:
Little Girl: "The Scottish have their own ship"
Amy: "Of course they do."
So, have you run screaming out of Pocket D yet?
Welcome! And the fact that you did your research before coming on here speaks well for you, IMO.

wisely.
Because no one else has played shill, and I have no shame, we have our own radio station too, The Cape Radio, with a website and a Global channel.
I took a visit to CO myself and came to the same conclusions, not enough content and it was frustratingly difficult to do any RP, so welcome to someplace that's doing it right
Well as with all places... COH has its good, the bad, and ugly of RPers..
But I feel here its all at a tolerable level..
*gives Knights Reach big squishy boobie hugz!!!*
YaY!! Welcome!!!
*slaps a "Detra wz here!!!" sticker on Knights Reach left butt cheek!*
<-----wants a whip emote! (checks off list, thank you Going Rogue! *smooches*)
<-----wants female & customizable MM pets!
[Local] Free.Fall: Detra TF.. timed. last 30 minutes with handcuffs on..no one has collected the badge yet..

Also, welcome back. I actively play both, but that is due to friends that play both.
I like CO's gameplay better, but its lacking in RP, or a competant community.
Heroes:
Jadewire, Sword of Paragon, and a few others I can't spell or recall.
Villains:
Pheonix Company, Iron Wolf Cartel, Black Tie, Clan Di'mir, Weapons Union.
The Protagonists have been a great RPSG to me and made transitioning much easier between the two.
Also I'm glad I'm on virtue since apparently Freedom is full of trolls.. was just on and a ton of freedom server people got on and complained about how Virtue sucks... People need a life.
Well, I noticed that even Virtue has its bad moments, but you just have to roll with the punches. (I'm apparently neglecting my characters in Freedom because Virtue is awesome.)
By the way, I seriously thought that you were actually one of the leaders of the Protagonists! Your costume makes you look important enough.
See you around IG!

I'm glad that you escaped from that failed experiment.
On one level, I wish it really had been "Champions the RPG" Online. But it wasn't in the most real sense - the game mechanics. On the other hand, if it really had been "Champions the RPG" Online, I would have had a very hard decision to make - because CoH just rocks so hard!
So welcome to the ORIGINAL Super MMORPG!
Since you are an RP'r, I can only hope you take great joy in all the cool emotes that the DEVs have given us.
Good luck and good hunting out there in the City!
PS - Don't forget to tell your friends that haven't tried out CoH yet that they can get a free trial (no credit card required. no obligation) here:
http://www.cityofheroes.com/trial/index.html
There are limits to a trial account, but, once they get the taste of that super hero-y goodness, I'm sure that they will want to join in the fun!
As an old-time tabletop Champs player, it actually sounded very much like the classic experience. Character creation is amazingly detailed and customizable and fun; the actual gameplay is clunky and often tiresome.

Gameplay? Forget it. There are a few things that are nice, but for the most part CoH wins hands down. I couldn't even tell you what the problem was for me, but I just couldn't get accustomed to it.
I came back here for two reasons community and dev team. I loves me some City of. Did I mention bases? I love bases too. Oh and the catgirls. No wait, I don't like the catgirls. Well sorta...*walks off arguing with himself*

I've been told I make great characters. Although its all about trial and error.
Oh and feel free to add me on COH Faces! http://faces.cohtitan.com/profile/KindredKiba
Technically, I believe you are a Champions Online Emmigrant.
Don't you hate confusing the two?
Belated grats on dinging 50, by the way! I did mention it IG, but thought I would again.
