What nomtastic treats will we get on April 28?

I've been looking forward to the 6th Anniversary Party since last April 28.

What nomtastic treats can this simple, humble, and unassuming kitty expect (besides a triple-decker "Death by Chocolate" cake with chocolate sour creme frosting and boysenberry filling)?

• It's near the end of the month. (Still technically April!)
• Assuming Open Beta opens soon, they'd have at least a week of public testing.
• The 27th is a Tuesday. ...Which is close enough.
• ...I just really want Demon Summoning. Is that too much to ask?! D:

Traditional U.S. 6th Anniversary Gifts: Iron

* New Iron Man costume set! Enjoy it the 5 minutes you can before you get Generic'd.

* War Mace Power Set will get the Skillet customizable weapon piece.

* New Mission Arc with the enemy known as the Iron Eater. His Anemia attack will give you a Debuff until you can eat a lot of red meat or take a multi-vitamin.

* Snaptooth has released a gas into Pocket D that makes all costumes wrinkled! You must defeat him to get the Iron of Destiny and beautify your uniform once more!

* The Rust In Peace anniversary badge.



Traditional U.K. 6th Anniversary Gift: Sugar

* Sugar Rush temp power. Increases movement speed, attack speed and accuracy for 10 minutes. When it runs out your character is automatically hit by a Sleep mezz that will remain in effect until they are hit by an attack, they smell coffee brewing or complete a six hour nappy-poo... whichever happens first.

* Spun Sugar costume set. This costume looks like a confectionary dream come true. New Ultra Mode graphics will allow it to sparkle quite nicely as well. Note: If you wear this costume and go swimming you will automatically change into the "Blurred Naughty-Bits" costume.

* New mission arc with the boss The Candy Man. He has hit you with his wicked Diabetes Device. Now you must somehow make it through the Candy Castle without going into Insulin Shock! Doom never tasted so good!

* New Customizable Weapons! Candy Cane Swords! Big Lolly Hammers! Cookie Shields! And when the Demon Summoning set comes out... you guessed it! Licorice Whips!

I hope we'll see that they've finally made the Anniversary Badges account wide.

hmm, given how many plates they have spinning at the moment, i'm surprised they have any spare workpower to get anything ready for the anniversary. (this message brought to you by the society for tortured metaphors)

I never expected they'd do anything for the 6th anniversary. The 5th I could see, which is why I was/am hoping we'll at least get something amazing for CoV's 5th anniversary later this year. Although, since it's "all one game" now, I guess it make sense only to celebrate based on the original release date.

I expect a badge (still not account-wide, though), some kind of one-off mission, and endless player complaints about how it's poorly written, too hard, too easy, uses a group people hate, the devs nerfed their pet cows, etc.

In other words, the usual stuff.

Samuriko Making a Video is always the best treat, but I am sure the Devs have something planned, I mean they went big for 5 why not for 6, not many MMOs can claim they have held a nice player base for 6 years and still have room for more people with a huge interest in their next big expansion (Only one I can think of that ever made much publicity about that kinda stuff and I wont mention that name!)

Although I can imagine 6 years not being as big as 5 I still would think something will happen.

I heard WarWitch was making Manticore and Castle read up for their parts in the Virtue Pocket D Yaoi Hour event.

Whatever they do for the 6th anniversary, I certainly hope they do it on a weekday during regular working hours. Then I will get to miss it again like last year's 5th anniversary events, because I'll be at work, like last year. Nothing better than poorly-timed events that a whole slew of people can't attend.
