While there's a chance something like that might help keep that kind of attitude away from the rest of the forums, there's also a chance that it could encourage it to spread.
There's a PvP section, and a forum games section - it should be enough

There was also legit conversation in there, but that's mostly been moved to the PVP section so now Pwnz would only be there for e-peen.

I enjoyed the "Threads to Watch" threads. A lot. Sadly people weren't content to merely observe the unspooling drama and threads like that got nixed soon after creation.
So now I don't care if there's a Pwnz section or not. It'd just be another section of the forums I don't bother clicking on.
