Demons most Common Secondary?
Dark Miasma would be another one. Fits the Demon Primary like a Glove.
Probably Dark, if for no other reason than it's so good and works with anything. "When in doubt, go for Dark Miasma" might as well be a motto for power choices.
Arc #40529 : The Furies of the Earth
I'm thinking I want to make one that is /pain, but I don't want to be doing the same thing as everyone else. There are just certain combinations that get done, and done, and ... redone...... I know that none of the combinations are unique by any means, but sometimes a combination just seems to eclipse all the others for common-ness.
Demons/FF would probably not be any fun (because I'm betting the demons don't have any defense to stack it with)
Demons/Storm might be interesting, because you have Hurricane in that set to massively debuff enemies' attack bonus at melee range (and the whips are basically melee range attacks), but it seems like a waste to have so many pets that need re-summoning. (Tornado, Lightning Storm, then Hell on Earth) ...... or..... actually that might be the strongest combination come to think of it............
If you make it a guy, you could go with the demon circus thing, so he would be maybe.....
Demon/TA to give the smoke and mirrors kind of thing?
I'm actually planning on TA, just because that's what my character has right now. That may change when it comes out, but there's only one way to find out.
If nothing else, I'll roll it with Traps. Can't go wrong with that.
50s: Yumi Eryuha-Arch/Energy, Mirria-Thugs/Dark, Meyami Kitsuna-Claws/SR, Celesta Seusen-SS/Invuln, Lady Mirriella-Illusion/Empathy
Arc 503982 "Dimension Xi Epsilon 22-10" Part one of a multi-part arc.
I'm thinking I want to make one that is /pain, but I don't want to be doing the same thing as everyone else.

My plan is to roll a Widow -> Fort when the level requirements get a drop. Seems like a good complimentary set to go with demons (or I might just stick with my Ice/Psi Dom). Worked really well for me when Dual Pistols came out.

If the T3 pet is a melee-oriented one I'm probably gonna make a demon/poison and see how that works out.
Throwing my vote for demon/poison too, hoping it will not be as common, but also /poison is one set I have never tried and want a new/new experience.
Was trying to avoid /dark since I feel it will be very common. And already have /storm and /PD MM's.
I'm thinkin thermal...demons + fire....
Either PD, Storm, or Poison. I'm not sure yet.
I'll probably end up going with PD or Storm.
I'm going with either a demon/storm or demon/poison. Storm if the third tier pet doesnt go melee, poison if it does.
/gignore @username is the best feature of this game. It's also probably the least used feature.
Can't get enough Hazy? /chanjoin robo's lounge today!
I would imagine that /dark and /thermal will be fairly common. Going with the former myself; have a Dark Lord concept brewing in my mind.
PAAAAIIIIINNNN!
*ahem*
i've yet to roll PD, so i'm greatly looking forward to this character.
as i expect it to turn out:
Dark, Therm
Pain, Storm
FF
Traps, TA
Dark or therm
If the T3 is melee I will probably give Poison a try, otherwise it will either be Thermal or Dark.
I saw him using Ice Sword/Greater Ice Sword in one of the screenshots, so he is either melee or some sort of hybrid like the Oni.

He's using it in the last screenie.
As with all the other MM sets, Dark will be the most popular.
ill be going /thermal..yeah i know itll be common..but im still gonna do it :P
I'll be rolling two: a Demon/Thermal MM that will remain a Villain, and when GR releases I'll start a Demon/Dark MM in Praetoria with the goal of making him a Hero.
Main Hero: Chad Gulzow-Man (Victory) 50, 1396 Badges
Main Villain: Evil Gulzow-Man (Victory) 50, 1193 Badges
Mission Architect arcs: Doctor Brainstorm's An Experiment Gone Awry, Arc ID 2093

Pretty and Strong - Do you really have to ask?
Why does it matter if the T3 Pet is Melee or not if your Poison? I'm new to MMs ha.
But i'll be trying either Demon/Poison or Demon/Pain |
The reason why poison would rock with a melee T3 pet is because the Noxious Gas power has a stronger effect when used on your T3 pet rather than another pet, but it's effects only reach enemies that are within melee range of the pet you use it on. So, if the T3 pet is melee based, then you'll get a lot of mileage out of that power.
When Thermal became a secondary, I started seeing bots/therms all over the place. What do you think we'll see the most of with Demons?
Will it be:
Demons/Pain - for the dominatrix effect?
Demons/Thermal - For thematics?
Demons/TA - Just cause?
Demons/Traps - For the Force Field to protect the MM during melee?
I'm debating the virtues of a demon/poison. I think it depends on whether the tier 3 pet engages in melee or not.
