Y'know, I didn't want to make this public, but...
It's my fault. I'm the reason that they never advertised the game. They figured, "Hey, we've got this schnook doing it for free, why should *WE* spend money?"

I'm really not sure what particular piece of false hope you are talking about. No one has said anything is set in stone for saving it, it's all just working on trying to at this point.
And if you consider trying false hope, well...Not much I can say about that.
Actually, I can say something...You can't succeed without trying. Even if you fail, you know you did everything in your power to try. -
My recommendation?
Read through http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=296655 and http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showthread.php?t=295694 , because I know people have put in their 2inf on various options in there, and it may give you some sort of idea on what's out and about. -

Right now, I'm on Balmung, which is the unofficial RP server, and will probably remain that way. If any CoH players are on balmung, I'd be happy to team up sometimes.
Edit: Nope, I got rid of all my random people to clear slots to make new people.
Edit 2: Going to have to try and find a way to figure out who was part of the CoH community when Realm Reborn comes around. -

I sort of want to try the game again, but last I looked into it most everyone had level 50 in all jobs, and level 50 in all crafting professions.. Kind of killed the fun for me. -

Also, never been on a Hamidon raid before, but I'm 99% certain that's not how it goes. If it is, why did I never join?

According to the server status page, all are up except Vigilance and Zukunft, which are unknown.

Most likely, FFXI while waiting for FFXIV:A Realm Reborn to kick in.
Not interesting in DCUO and CO, so no superhero fix for me. Will keep my eye out on things, because I hate the idea of losing the people I put work into.
