What would you most want to see the talent from Paragon Studios go work on now?
I assumes/he (sorry, don't know for sure) meant besides the obvious.
Though I have to agree.
50s: Yumi Eryuha-Arch/Energy, Mirria-Thugs/Dark, Meyami Kitsuna-Claws/SR, Celesta Seusen-SS/Invuln, Lady Mirriella-Illusion/Empathy
Arc 503982 "Dimension Xi Epsilon 22-10" Part one of a multi-part arc.
CoH1.
Doom.
Yep.
This is really doom.
Just getting this game COH back on line. then maybe a wild west game that works
There are only three alternatives. It thinks were either a threat, food, or a mate. Its gonna either kill us, eat us, or hump us.
Yeah, would be great to see a CoH+ (whether a sequel to or evolution of what there is now). Sort of is the obvious desire to see a Paragon Studios working on that. But it was the studio/staff and the community that has made CoH so great. I don't think you could possibly hope to re-capture what that has been.

Now that I think about it, Wiggy the Brit was based on someone in the DL creative team, too.

EDIT: If you look as all the red name stickied goodbye threads, Wa Witch is the only one there whoe's a "first gen" dev - all the others came to the studio later, some were even orginally just players - and they all took on board the Paragon Studios culture.
@Golden Girl
City of Heroes comics and artwork
ANYTHING!
It would be good, regardless. Best dev team I think I have ever seen.
I secretly hope that at least some of them decide to get together and form a new studio. It has happened many times in the history of video games, and said groups have developed some of the best games ever made.
I'm only ladylike when compared to my sister.
Get together and reform Paragon Studios. They should probably rename themselves (( Maybe Freedom Phalanx or something.))
Buy the rights and code from NCSoft. I'm sure collectively they might have the resources to do that. If not I'm sure the community or another company would help them out in some way shape or form.
Once they obtain and open CoH, they keep the servers open and continue with development while working on new games like CoH2 or whatever else they might want to dream up.
That would be ideal..

Rock, rock on Hamster.
The most exciting possible solution for me is either CoH2, or a totally new game with a new IP with a grander scope. Ideally, made from a combination of devs new and old, maybe with a company like Valve instead of NCSoft.
A game like that would have everything we loved about this game, and more. More customization, player created missions with a better system than MA, improved bases and PvP, etc. Of course, even getting CoH1 now would be great.
TW/Elec Optimization
Know what?
I don't care.
I'd just want as many of them working together as possible. If they made a My Little Pony MMO, I'd become a Brony. Just because.
Positron: "There are no bugs [in City of Heroes], just varying degrees of features."
Please join Funcom and make a certain MMO even crazier than it seems now.
Mmmm Positron and War Witch spawning the unthinkable and Dr. Aeon planting seeds of hellish disinformation. Not likely since they cut staff but you can always hope!
Questions about the game, either side? /t @Neuronia or @Neuronium, with your queries!
168760: A Death in the Gish. 3 missions, 1-14. Easy to solo.
Infinity Villains
Champion, Pinnacle, Virtue Heroes

I've been reading all the post on saving the studio, and buying the IP, and such. So it got me curious, how would I write and pitch a business plan for a new Paragon Studio to a VC.
I basically went back to Neverwinter Nights, a game that makes a great platform for RP possible, has a fun and functional game underneath, and both exist with synergy. What I'd love to see the former staff of Paragon Studios working on would be a new type of multiplayer game platform built on there being players and game masters, focused on giving tools to support immersion. It basically is trying to design and build a digital table top (in the PnP RPG sense) taken to its full potential. The hard part has been finding the right business model that generates revenue from a mixture of purchasable content (for both players and GMs) and being a service provider that offers a platform to build a persistent game world on. (Basically a lot of what Linden Labs has not yet gotten figured out with Second Life.)
I am really curious though what others here would want to see the talent that gave us CoH go onto now.
