I watched a video of the panel from PAX east last night and they said that Friends and Family beta for GR starts next week, so if there's to be an open beta for i17 it'll HAVE to be this week. This could mean one of two things, we'll be getting a very VERY short open beta before they shunt it to live or no open beta at all.
I'm still kinda conflicted myself as to what this could mean for release. They could be releasing i17 to live this week or early next if we're VERY lucky, or we might not get it till closer to the middle of the month and we just won't have an open beta beforehand.
On the other hand, as some have pointed out, one of the test servers says public access is denied, and the other says wrong game client, so it's possible that they'll run GR's beta on one and the i17 OB on the other, meaning all my supposition just flew out the window. Either way, I'd prefer either OB kick in today, or they just don't bother with OB and we get i17 next Tuesday. I'd be perfectly fine with that.
I thought F&F Beta was starting this week for GR?
*Edit* Ya, PAX was last Sat. and panel says "next week" so that means it has either already started or is about to sometime this week.
What.. Is there some kind of closed beta currently or something?

I still believe it doesnt make sense to have 2 CB's at the same time. Even though one is for F&F and other being normal players. Just still doesnt sit right with me.
Sit right or not, it's what's going on. Hence the different message when you attempt to access Training Room 02.

As much as I'm looking forward to i17 open beta or the actual issue itself, it not happening today is not what's bothering me the most. I'm a bit disturbed that the dual pistols open beta sections weren't removed yesterday like they were supposed to be, and no one seems to have said anything about it. No idea why that bothers me so much, but I'd think they would have the time to at least get rid of them. Unless of course, the plan is to get rid of them at the same time they post up the open beta section(s) for i17. If that's the case though, then that means they were planning on going to i17 open beta yesterday and something came up. Oh well, anything and everything we post is speculation at this point.
