Though if GR beta starts "next week," I don't expect there to be much of an open beta, if any, for I17. My condolences to the folks that nerdraged in those other threads.

They specifically said that the Closed Beta that starts next week will be for Friends And Family. IIRC, they have a special, in-house server that they use for those Closed Beta Tests, as well as general preliminary testing, before putting something on the Training Room Test Server.

okay love the demon summoning. The pets are so ugly they are cute. Cannot wait for the kinetic melee. Would love to know more about the incarnate system. This game is going to pick up speed very quickly

I'm thinking it'll go to OB tomorrow rather than today, since a lot of their releases happened on Tuesdays, GR Pre-thingy as the most recent example. Though OB isn't really a release... Making my logic flawed... yet still plausible.
But hey I wouldn't be angry if the Devs proved me wrong and open it today... ;P

I am at work right now, but I am about to walk into my boss' office and tell him I quit. When he asks why I will tell him that the OB for i17 started and I am gonna walk out the door. Takes me about 5 minutes to get to my car and 7-9 minutes to get home.
Now you wouldnt want me to quit my job in vain now would ya?

Well.....maybe just maybe they will answer our cries and woes for open beta. I mean with GR cb happening this week shouldnt they give us somethin to do 
....... I'm just slightly sad because its been so long of a CB. I can haz OB now?

I wouldn't be surprised by Open Beta tomorrow, but I wouldn't be surprised by Open Beta next week or the week after either, considering we're supposed to get GR "friends and family" this week, so the devs will probably be wrapped up in that.

Are we going to have I17 OB and GR CB running concurrently on two different servers? When I try to punch into the Training Room 2 I get a "wrong version" message. Seems it wants the version number I have but without the A.
