Open Beta on the 29th?

Tell ya the truth I really want to stress test Ultra Mode on my card.
Thats whats got me foaming at the mouth.
But I will check back later when i get back from the unemployment office

Hmmm one server is closed to the public (GR F&F) and the other is...out of date?
Um... they may not be doing an "Open Beta" of Ish 17, since the PAX East Presentation seems to have indicated that Friends and Family Closed Beta of GR starts this week.
So... Yeah.

The friends and family closed beta is most likely on an in house server. They wouldn't close the test servers for friends and family.

Odds are, Training room is for 17 betaing. Training room 02 for GR beta.
Just ran a test.
Training Room v1 gave me a standard "ACCESS DENIED" message.

So Training Room 2 doesn't have Going Rogue on it. It's either an earlier version of i17 or an arbitrary variation to keep the players on one server.

I'm patching my test server now so it's ready when OB starts. I don't think we'll be seing it until tomorrow though.

Also, they were at PAX East this weekend. Coming home and immediately opening the beta up would have been a huge stretch anyway.

Yeah. I gots a feeling that today is the day. Anyone who thought it would happen on any Monday needs to open their eyes and look at almost everything else that's ever been released CoH-wise.
Well, I don't know if you need to patch for 'Open Beta', but it doesn't seem like it's there yet.
Why? Well, I patched the updater around 2 days ago, and I retried it like 5 minutes ago, and there was no patch needed to apply.
Keep in mind it's 8:30 A.M Eastern during the time of this post.
I've seen that the cool stuff does indeed happen on Tuesdays, and between 9-11 AM, Eastern.

Most likely. Although server 2 will probably have its own temporary updater during concurrent testing. (See also: CoV beta)
