Reads better if you edit it too...

It's an overlay we have now, I believe.

On note of the update; very exciting. I'm a fool for any information that there is to offer, and as expected, I'm excited as. Especially on sight of the ghouls. This isn't really something that's been hinted at thus far. But I'm looking forward to finding out who they were.

Scott looks awesome.

The Ghouls look nice, but they seem a bit random? Where do they come from?

For those who didn't realize it yet, he's Aurora Borealis' husband, and was a Task Force contact until issue 4!

(Since we're going to meet him in Praetoria, isn't about that time that his TF is put in ouro, hmm?)
No, not unless villains get another SF.

Praetorian Dr. V?

Hmmm the Ghouls look like escaped prisoners/experiments...possibly what happens to folks at Mother Mayhem's hospitals or what happens to heroes/villains who don't join Cole.

/end speculation

Or resistance members who get caught then turned to ghouls to go eat the resistance...ooo creepy and evil.

The collars and restraints visible on the Ghouls make me think "Escaped Science Project" ... so yeah, I'd buy them as the Praetorian Vhaz.

oooooooooooohhhhhhh very good idea, would explain where the heck those collars and cuffs come from.

50Soulsunder: DM/Regen Scrapper
50Limitshift: EM/WP Brute
Victoria Nox: Dark/Dark Dominator
And about 5 others that change constantly...

I think it's likely the whatever percent of metas that *don't* make it through Chimera's brutal training regime probably end up as those poor monsters. Or something like that.

Great stuff so far =]

The Ghouls (thank you Devs for using the proper term) do appear to be the Pretorian Vazh (with or without Dr V they're filling that genra niche). I just want to know what the collars and wristlettes are for now. And I want to know how accurate the Descript is, especially the "beating one makes the others angry." It would be very cool to have a foe that, if you engage one others in the area get an aggro range bonus (say an "aggro range boost" that extends 100 feet and triples the aggro range) and come after you. It would make them a particularly challenging foe to fight because you'd have to be very careful about your movements and when and where you engaged them or risk massively overaggroing.

The shackles they are wearing look pretty hi-tech and Praetoria wasn't built in a day. I get the distinct feeling that the Ghouls could be some early experiment (slave labor workforce?) by Tyrant and his regime, winding up as something comparable to the Morlocks in The Time Machine.

I guess we'll find out once GR goes live.

Is it July yet?

I'm thinking the Ghouls are Praetorian Vahz as well.

I also noticed that Calvin Scott is a Mercs/Traps MM. If we get to fight him at some point I wonder if he'll get his own "Resistance" Mercs.

Re: Ghouls

Hey, everyone! We found the supers that "Volunteered for overseas operations". Search is off. Clear the sides of the milk cartons!

Great video trailer for pistols too by the way

I did say.
They wind up like that, slap some explosive collars on them so they can't attack the people with the killswitch, and throw them down the sewers to kill off any Resistance members they bump into.
If they kill a loyalist, weeeell....they obviously weren't good enough.
