More character slots per server?

So I notice that I'm down to my last 3 character slots on my server of choice.

It seems like the 36 character limit is somewhat arbitrary and could be expanded with relatively little difficulty. Is there a chance players might be able to purchase more slots in the near future?

Well on GR's site it mentions more free character slots....whether that means more than 36 or just more free slots is still unknown (as far as I know)....

If they make it 60 slots per server (or 48), I am sure there is some money in it for them

I am hoping so much that we get another 4 free slots per server with Going Rogue. That will be my #1 reason for buying GR if it happens.

I really do hope we get more slots per server I'm running out of room on both servers I play on. I've moved a few to a third server but it's not as populated as the two I play on.

Now there's a nifty idea for a Veteran Reward, and one folks might actually find useful. (Far more useful, to me personally, than half off the cost of costume changes that are already free via costume change tokens.) I'm already at max on both of my preferred servers.

Viture is really the only server I seriously pay money for more slots at this point. granted I have victory and Champion near maxed out on current slots as well [just not filled]

Yes, I too wished there were more slots available per server than 36. 48 or 60 slots would be great. Considering how easy and quickly it is to level these days, players can fill up 36 slots on a server with Level 50's in a relatively short time, so adding more slots (I'd be happy to pay for them) would be a welcome to most everyone, especially the long time players.

You know what might be kinda cool, is if they had some kind of Vet reward or GR perk that allowed two simultaneous logins per account. I suppose, as long as they originate from the same IP or something!

I need more than 36 slots too, or will soon. I have 4 slots left. I am trying to save those 4 slots for sets that MAY get proliferated. I want a /Dark, /Traps, and /Poison controller on my main account, but I also want to put a new Storm/Dual Pistols and Dark/Dual Pistols and Traps/Dual Pistols on my main account. I could spread 2 of them to my 2nd and 3rd account but I'm weird. See, I have Traps defenders and storm defenders on accounts 2 and 3 already so I need one on my 1st account. I also want the Dark/DP to be on my main account because my concept is cool!

So, I either need more than 36 slots, or they need to have cross-account character transfers (limited only to accounts linked to the same master account). Either one would fix me up, since I have 12 or so potential slots on my 2nd and 3rd accounts.

I could also stop being so uptight/ocd about my characters and which account they go on, but that will never happen.

I'm not even bumping up on the limit, but I'd love to see them up the max, or remove the max entirely.

I would love to see 48...60...100... "As many slots as we could pay for at today's prices of $9.99 for 5 slots" ...


I would gladly continue to purchase more slots and play more alts if the ceiling cap was raised.

With the ability in I17 to send influence and items to your own characters on other servers, there will no longer be a serious disadvantage having characters on another server, other than the obvious ones of having to make a new SG and bringing friends along.

The devs should do a thorough analysis of character transfers before and after the free transfer period and see whether it makes sense from a competitive point of view to make free transfers a permanent feature. Other games have a single server, and while free transfers aren't a perfect analogue to that, they effectively accomplish the same thing.

I would also like to see more purchasable character slots per server. Currently I have 31/36 filled on Liberty and the others already purchased in preparation for GR. I am certain that if more than 36 were allowed I would spend more money.
