~*~How was DXP for you...~*~

For me, DXP was a load of fun! Spent the entire 4 days running with JKat...we were all "Bonnie and Clyde" like

We both spent a chunk of our time dealing with disconnects while on Freedom, so we didn't accomplish as much as we had wanted. But we did get our DPs to 50, which was my personal goal. Was able to get another one to 50 as well. So I am satisfied how this DXP weekend turned out.

I mainly worked so didn't get much out of DXP... And when I did play it seemed like I died... A lot... And often. It was like someone just nerfed my characters. *sigh*

*shrug*

But anyway, I don't care too much about double XP... So far I've pretty much retired each 50 once they hit that mark and just started afresh so I see no need to be in a huge rush to get there.

I didn't do anything close to getting 50 on people. I suppose Rose got closer but she started at 44 and ended at 47. I don't know how much that counts.

But now she can do Lady Gray's. Earth for Humans!

More interestingly, I got Pachamama from 24 to 30 so I'm in striking distance of 32 and her pet. Someday I might actually be able to solo things beyond "Stone Cages. Gale. Gale. Gale. Stone Cages. Gale. Gale. Gale..."

DXP was ok, fun playings, but experience lessened by me feeling really really sick :|

got my DP blaster to 41 and a DP defender to 17, as well as the odd levels on other chars.

I didn't even get a chance to play because of school work =(

I broke my laptop during a mish. At the beginning of DXP. So I did not get to enjoy it as much. Highest I got a new toon was to 16. Gratz on the lvl 50 DP. That's a fun set!

I was standby operator/tech minion for Cape Radio so I was working the overnight playtimes in case there were problems (Cape runs live DJs from 2xp start to end, so in case someone overslept, the server exploded, etc, etc) so I didn't get as much done as I might have, but it was a good time and got roughly 30 levels across 5 or 6 chararcters.

I think i got 2-3 level on bloom, would have liked to play a bit more but I actually did a lot this weekend along with being pretty congested all weekend.

It was fun^^

Well... In fact I was drawing so I didn't exactly had time for it^^;

But, I'm sure it was fun for others^^

Helped alot of friends hit their goals and worked on my DP/Traps Corr that I started Saturday morning and finished her run to 50 on sunday morning .

Made a ton of Prestige for the various SG's I belong to as well as handfuls of inf to buy things with after the market stabalizes a bit

However, just as it was ending, I managed to get my level 50 dominator there onto an ITF. Somewhere along the second mission, our tank disconnected, and someone worried aloud if we'd be able to finish with a team composed of five squishies and a scrapper... we kept going anyway, nobody else left, and somewhere around the Romulus Phalanx I ended up somehow giving the orders... wasn't even thinking about it, people just started asking me what to do. It actually went much, much better than I'd expected with me calling the shots; we only wiped once in the last mission.

Yeah, DXP was pretty good...the DCs I had on Freedom like Vex said was definitely annoying. Managed to push a new DP blaster to 50 along with finishing up a handful of previous toons already close to 50. It still feels like the SSK thing lowered the purple drop rate in normal mish runs though. I hope the devs address this and PvP drop IOs too with i17. The markets went all whacky again shortly after DXP it seems too lols.

Unfortunately I got around an hour of DXP during the whole event, which was kinda sad. On the flipside, I got to catch up with some oldtimers which was great.

It was a weekend of frustration, starting with me leaving one of the SGs I was in. I won't go into it, though. Also had to deal with real life a good bit.

There was some good, managed to get maybe 10 levels across various toons, and I got to know DarkEther better...hung out one night with him doing nothing but exchange influence and stuff between various toons.

For the first time ever, I was not facing a deadline when a DXP rolled around, so I managed to get some quality CoH time in

Took a ff/dp def to 18, decided that I felt pretty Meh about DP, so I got three of my teens into stamina range, and then settled into working a shield scrapper I'd started way back when shields came out, out of the teens. Managed to go from 15 to 43 on her. All in all tons of fun, lots of great teams and people

I had a blast! Which is a switch for me, because as I said, this was the first DXP weekend in a looong time I wasn't staring a deadline in the face.
