Dino Powerset
Spear - Ranged, Minor Damage (Lethal)
Call Velociraptor - Summon 1-3 Velociraptors
Poison Spear - Ranged Minor Damage (Lethal) Foe -Dmg, Foe -Rech
Encourage - Ranged Equip Dinosaur Henchman
Rain of Spears - Ranged (Cone) Moderate Damage (Lethal) Foe: Knockdown
Call Allosaurus - Summon 1-2 Allosauruses
Dino Swarm - Summons a swarm of approximately 10 velociraptors.
Call Tyrannosaur - Summon Tyrannosaur
Empower - Ranged Upgrade Dinosaur Henchman
IIRC velociraptors were about the size of turkeys, so they'd probably be better left for the swarm power and a larger species used for the tier one pets. Then again Allosaurs and Tyrannosaurs massed over a ton, so i have a feeling that accurate scale isn't a consideration.

Most people associate the name Velociraptor with the Deinonychus due to Spielberg combining the more imposing Deinonychus' appearance with the more impressive name of the Velociraptor.

Still who wouldn't want to command several 11' long critters like these?:

Amirite?

Edit: Actually, now that i think about it, Velociraptors being the size of turkeys could work for tier one pets, and use the 11' Deinonychus for the tier two pets.
Maybe one of the quadrupedal species for the tier three.

So in CO all characters with tails look like they're prepared to mate at all times?

I mean you're going to have a howl costume emote and not have a good bushy tail? What tha?

And while we are on the tail subject, I want to see an "electrical cord with a plug" tail as well - for robots, of course!

Yeah, definately bushy tails. Hopefully the reason we never had them before is that it didn't look good unless it was animated.

To be honest, I think what bugs people (or at least me) the most about this one is the Samurai Belt looking upper leg armour pieces. They really distort her shape by giving her an artificially big butt, which just serves to accentuate what looks like the Vixen pose. That, and your colour scheme just blends in a bit much, with purple, grey and black for the fur, but black, green and teal for the armour pieces, which kind of makes it a bit too colourful to follow contour lines, at least to my eyes.

If you'd hear my unwelcome suggestions, I'd probably go for more contrasting colours between the underlying fur and the clothes. You already have blue and red in the purple, and you have blue and green in the green and teal, so they tend to meld when they're paired up with just themselves and red. That colour scheme would probably benefit from yellow, or at least all-green gear just to make it stand out, possibly colouring the larger surfaces and leaving the black just for contour lines.

I don't think the design itself is bad, mind you, or even questionable. Given the limitations you're working with, that's as good as you can make it, though I kind of have to ask a couple of questions about it:

1. Why go with all this fur, yet with a human-skin face and arms? I mean, this way it looks like a girl wearing fur clothes, rather than an actual were-girl, which is what I assume you're going for. It just makes it look a bit dissonant.
2. Do you really need clothes on her? Serious question here. If the fur is a suit over human flesh, then that can serve as clothes, and even if it's not, you can just go the typical werewolf rout and have her run around in just gender-concealing fur. It's what I did for my panda girl, and I've gotten complimented on her a few times. It might simplify the concept so it's easier to grasp in one look.

But again - unwelcome advice is unwelcome, so don't take me too seriously

not all weres/anthros like to run around buck nakid. Gina would sooner kill you then let you see her in her bithday suit, even if it is a fur suit

Certainly, it's a question of character concept and character design. On a purely technical level, though, anthropomorphic characters tend to have enough detail on their own natural bodies to where they don't always benefit from clothes, stylistically. That's not to say clothes are bad to put on them, so much as it takes an extra step when designing clothes for anthropomorphic characters, since they don't have to just look good, but also fit the character's body design.

I'm surprised at how much I approve of this statement.

For the record, Chaoswolf, my claws/wp brute, would also like a canine tail.

Be well, people of CoH.

The character in question was designed to use as a reference shot for a shape-shifter character in one of her forms.

Said shapeshifter has magically active nanites in her blood that allow her to shapechange and to share a current shape temporarily (til next sunrise, so last longest if initiated just after dawn).

She's a rather flirty goth girl who likes monster movies, so the shapes she takes tend to take sexy versions of said monsters. Currently has five forms "werewolf", "vampire", "mummy", "demon" and "ghost".

So, yeah, the fur is "decorative", but supposed to be part of her.

Unfortunately...I cannot link the actual images of her "sharing" her changes with various anime and video game girls as they are...decidedly...not safe for work....however, you can find them under "Goth's Transformations" in my Gallery.

by the way...I'm not sure why the one leg is tattooed blue in every picture....I think the artist just thought it looked interesting...which I'll admit it does...

Or just a mechanical looking tail. Or a steampunk tail!

Does it reflect poorly on me as a person that, after having seen the pictures in question, my reaction was "Well that wasn't really very unsafe?" I'm starting to get worried

Having seen a few of your other Champions designs, however, just convinces me the design would look better without the actual clothes, as your other designs that don't have them don't really have anything particular that "bugs" me in them.

A lot of people respond that way about my taste in pictures....I guess I'm somewhat tame.

I'm mostly interested in the female body more than the sexual act, I suppose.

Ferret tail please.

Also some new coloration options would be nice, like being able to color the tip separately from the rest of the tail or having a ring tail.

One of the points that was brought up in the other tails thread was that the face and hands mark the point where a character can cross the line from "cute monster girl" to "furry" and plunge into the uncanny valley.
