It's simple, GP. A nemesis system would allow you to personally create your opponent.

The "Dark Mirror" group is comprised entirely of guys who wear mirror shades... and have Dark powers.

2 cents about the Story arcs....

IT'S EIGHT WHOPPING MISSIONS.

Doesn't matter where they put it, it's nothing but flavor text IMO.

I've already forgotten about most of you

There's no DOOM like VOODOOM.

This is my take on it for now in that more is coming. 20-30 to highlight (or sneak peek) a new group. Then when GR comes out and I could be very optimistic and assuming, the devs will show the after lvl30 to 50 content, getting ready for this "endgame", and doubt that they will leave this sinister new group just hanging at 30.

I will add again from what I said a in other posts on issues in that we don't the work involved. This issue could represent the workload of like I3 to I6 for all we know. They are still producing and more is to come.

If they're on par with those newer Midnighter arcs, I'll take them. Those are pretty fun to play through, and have pretty good stories... but that's my liking, I know.

Guide: Tanking, Wall of Fire Style (Updated for I19!), and the Four Rules of Tanking
Story Arc:
Belated Justice, #88003
Synopsis: Explore the fine line between justice and vengeance as you help a hero of Talos Island bring his friend's murderer to justice.
Grey Pilgrim: Fire/Fire Tanker (50), Victory

Exactly.. I have a sneaking suspicion that this new villain group will play a big part in the "Endgame" Posi and co. are working on. So.. you get a glimpse of them early in your career, then when you think you are at the peak of your power.. they step out of the shadows to take you down...

Intrigued by some of this.

Silver Mantis simultaneously needed to be removed from the Mission Computer, yet the Mission Computer needed more content added to it. A win for villains corresponds with a loss for bases I guess.

Greatly looking forward to the Mission Architect improvements. It'll take a little bit of the sting out from not being able to finish this latest Aeon Challenge. Plus, there was one key feature I've been waiting on that I'll finally be able to use.

Badges and animated tails = meh. Grats to those who want them but I could care less.

Cleaning up the auction houses is very welcome though I wonder how emailing inf to yourself will affect the market.

Upgrading Posi? *starts looking for asteroids raining from the sky*

As far as new content, it's a toss up. Great to have new content but it would be nice if it were spread out across more level ranges. Plus, it's onlt for this new Dark Mirror thing instead of expanding upon numerous other stories in the game.

Shame you still can't have tails AND a belt. Maybe in I25..

Show Last Objective: This UI improvement lets you find your last objective on a mission map, making it easier to find something you've missed.
I know this was accidentally leaked a while ago, but I'm not sure why more people aren't excited about this. This is the 'the last glowie or two will show up on the map' and 'the last 10% of enemies will show up on the map in a defeat all' addition. I wouldn't care if we got nothing else from i17, this is all that I want.

"Animated tails are not capes. They're nearly identical to how we do wings, but a much simpler rig. (Not too much more expensive than a bow when you really get down to it.)

They've also been put on their own costume node and will now show up under "Lower Body". Which will mean you can do a Belt and a Tail (animated or static) on the same character. Unfortunately, that means the tails under the belt category are being flagged as legacy. So if you want to keep your current, non-animated tail, you'll still need to go in and select that costume part from the lower body the next time you edit your costume at the tailor."

It is better to ask forgiveness than permission.

I need to see what these animation look like before being too pleased about this. This has been long over due though.

Because, by this time in the game's career, you should already know where most everything is?

Or maybe you should just go slower through the maps, take your time, not miss anything.

The content's pretty worthless, based on the last few rounds of content we've seen; relatively short missions, not a whole lot to the arc. Also, as others have said, it lands in one of the worst ranges as we've already got plenty to do there.

I'm glad Silver Mantis is finally freed from her computer screen prison, though I'm already wondering where they'll place her in Shark, maybe by the boat.

As for the Posi changes, while they're long overdue, I'm definitely going to have to reserve my opinion till I see what they've done to it. How will this 'split' affect things.. we talking two completely seperate TFs? Maybe a 10-13 and 13-15 ranges? Eh.

As for the rest, eh. The milestone badges were expected, since once we switch sides over 1000 will be easily gained. More explores, eh.. though if they tie in to some of the newer stories, maybe.

Another QoL issue. We need a lot more content. Tired of QoL, honestly. Making things look nicer, meh. It's still the same baddies, the same powers, and the same 15 cave maps that I can visualize in my head.

I'm beginning to believe that they limit the info they give us at one time for our health. For some people, if they told us this along with some other news we have gotten...they would have a *SQUEE* overload.

This would be a great time to annouce the villian-only, level-30 to 35 Task Force!!

/e someone whispers in ear.

What? They're not? Come on it's been over 4 years!! Why can't we...

/sulk

I've always wanted a second zone option for low to midlevel villians. A 15 to 25 option so players wouldn't be forced into Cap for 15 to 20 or Shark for 20 to 25, but at least there are TFs that can make those levels fly. A 30-35 TF for redsiders has always felt like a strange omission.

Thank you, City of Heroes, for giving me a superhero social network combined with amazingly smooth game play. Petitions signed with realistic expectations.

Actually, I'm fairly sure she isn't being REMOVED from base computers, only added as a standard contact in addition to.

Check out the TTH interview with War Witch for GR.

After reading "I had to ask the question, “What does it mean to be Praetorian?” It sounds simple enough, but there are a lot of details: What kind of currency do they use?" I thought to myself "Not another effin currency!" I sure hope they had the good sense not to add another form of currency to the game. I guess time will tell...

Who do I have to *&^% around here to get more Targeted AoE recipes added?

Holding my breath on the missions, but reasonably hopeful they will be of decent length and quality (hoping for more like the recent Midnighters and less like the Cimerora missions, though those weren't that bad, they are short). I'm still rather happy that we're getting an I17 before... I had assumed we were going to for awhile, but then a lot of people were saying "don't count on it." I'm glad the devs realized the need for it.

True, but it removes the need for the Mission Computer other than the fact that it fits some bases visually. It would be nice if they added something to it, even if it was just access to the MA from within the base (I think the accolade is still bugged) and/or access to Mayhem/Safeguard missions.

Plus, I realized something is still missing from the MA improvements so I'll just have to sit and wait a while longer.
