Some out of character questions if you don't mind:
* By "either", do you mean that there will only be a single event in one location or the other, and we'll have no idea which characters / side to be in? Or is it RPing why there will be an event on both blue and red sides? If the latter, will they be simultaneous or sequential?
* Will the event use GM scaling code, so we can bring whatever level characters we feel are most thematically appropriate? Or do we need to bring 50s?
* Will Midnighter Club access be required to fully participate in the event? Cimerora access?
* Is meeting around the "outside" of the Midnighter Club a good idea, or should we be gathering somewhere else (meeting at train / boat to escort to club, inside the club already, etc.)?
* What is the rough estimated time expected... in particular, is it reasonable to plan on making it to both the Victory event at 3p PST and then the Triumph event at 4p PST?

Alright...Alright...I'll admit it...inspite of the fact it makes me physically ill to help a hero, it was a fun event.
Perhaps after GR is released, and all that extra dev time is freed up, they could make it so we don't have to help heroes all the time. Like maybe spawn an army of Midnighters with event spawn coding and have them protect said hero as they cross the zone while the villains do what they should be doing and try to stop/steal from/and do other evildoery things to said heroes.
A villain can dream...

badge = temporary yellow print attached above your character's name, the kind devs give out at special events like a Pocket D Halloween party.

Maybe he meant the zombie invasion badges, I know I picked up a couple of those at the event, myself 
BTW- these mini events just keep getting better and better. I know they're just silly fun, but adding in that tiny bit of background and motivation for the characters made it much more enjoyable.
I'd still like to see a Giant Monster spawn for the final wave...Adamastor or Caleb would have been great, or even some rarer AVs ala Envoy of Shadows, Lilitu, or the Blade Prince Tireses. But really, when you've got that many heroes in one place it just BEGS for a giant monster!

Some people were complaining about a raid-rehash there. I was kinda like, 'geez, would you guys go to someone's house party and tell them they sucked?' YES, it was a raid rehash...but it was also effort to bring players together to do something fast and fun. Is that bad? I think not. So SHOOOOSH! :^)
