Super conspiracy theory iii

Okay, I've noticed a trend on the board lately... people who had registered either recently, or within the past 2 years (around the time that NCSoft bought out the game from Cryptic), that have less than a dozen posts... coming "back" to the boards and posting negative things.... or asking pointed and/or rhetorical questions about the status of the game, the age of the game, and whether it's "dying" or the servers being "ghost towns".

I won't name any names here, but if you look around you can see them. People with extremely low post count who come out of nowhere and suggest strongly that the game is DOOOOOOOOOOMED.

My conspiracy theory? That they are either employees of "that other game" or are hired by that other game as some form of corporate sabotage in an attempt to alter the general mood of the playerbase and to try to "kill" the game by attrition. By creating a negative environment and alter the discussion about the game in the direction of it "dying".

They also almost never respond to anyone after making their original posts... and sometimes just make another thread in another part of the boards saying something similar instead. suspicious? I think so.

This I strongly suspect.

I think it's more about players from ChO coming to bring down CoH to share in their misery.

I agree Westley something is up,too many threads being started calling about some kind of Doom about the game

I've joined in the last year but for the exact opposite reason. I had been away from CoH for 2+ years because I had gotten terminally bored with it, then when I got back I had seen just how much they had done in that time to improve things and have been hooked ever since.

The game isn't dying, it's finally getting great.

Champions Online, however, looks like the last hour of "Titanic". Time to let go, Jack.

ChO has some cool stuff, we have some cool stuff.they have some probs, so do we.theyre devs hate them, our devs just hate villians. we win.
anyway its pretty easy to spot those griefing troll -phisher schmatta heads anyway.i say good riddance.

I endorse the Dumpleberry. Sure it's been a bumpy ride at times, but I too very much like where this game is.

Kicking the bleeding horse on the ground, I also wish they would market this game a little better.

Then I wants my corporate monies! Nao!


Edit: On a serious note, I don't recall a negative thing I've posted lately about this game. I've been critical about certain forumites, and passionate about a couple of issues within the game, like universal naming, but not down on the game itself. In fact, I'm very optimistic about Going Rouge and have almost nothing negative to say about it based on what we know.
