Greens and awakens? Blues and breakfrees solve pretty much all my (if they exist) Carnie problems.

To bad I won't get home from work till 30 min after the start. Maybe i'll get lucky and it will still be going on.

Sorry folks ... been feeling rough most of the night. Tried to hang in there in order to do this thing, but I gotta hit the sack. Have fun with those Carnies; I know I would've .

Same. I set all my details to minimum and even when I wasn't held, I couldn't move or use any attacks. I basically stood there and/or died for the entire time. No, my PC isn't an old thing. I've never had this sort of trouble before... The lag was horrendous. And when almost everything was spawning at a lvl 54... Ow.

It wasn't any fun for me, I'm afraid.

So, what actually happened? Did they spawn a ton of Carnies?

Well, in Cap Wonko the Strong ( aka The Ocho ) showed up, a tanker looking like a Strongman. After some talk he spawned lots and lots of Carnies which we proceeded to smack around, including the AVs.

The original idea apparently was that it would be a co-op event in Ouros, but when they did that on Champion it was bugged and everyone's powers were locked down. A rather one sided fight.

Ok, and Wonko mentioned to 'watch the forums next week'.

I have to wonder if some Halloween banner design theory needs to be applied to these. Specifically, split them up so that there's more than one point on the map people need to go to and thus lag is reduced in that specific area.

That's old-style Hami raid lag. I gather it means we were actually bogging down the server, making game time slow down, so there's nothing your computer can do about it. It makes your powers take much longer than you expect to recharge, and movement is erratic. It also confuses the game client, so your power icons don't show recharge states properly--you can see when a power really recharges if you watch the combat channel.
