Although I haven't been playing my official Midlevel Crisis characters much, I'm still trying to generate recipes in the 30-33 range.
With that in mind, my latest character just hit 30, and I rolled 120 merits and about 2500 tickets (bronze rolls). Put a few things up for sale that sold immediately, including Mako's Bite Chance for Lethal Damage (30), Mako's Bite Acc/End/Rech (30), Devestation Acc/Dam (30), Crushing Impact Acc/Dam/Rech (30).
Currently listing: Razzle Dazzle Acc/Rech (30) for 1 influence.
When I have more market space I have these to sell as well, all level 30:
Adjusted Targeting to hit buff/rech/endurance reduction
Force Feedback rech/end
Gift of the Ancients def/rech
Obliteration: Chance for Smashing Damage
Red Fortune end/rech
Serendipity def/rech

I have a Thug/Pain MM stopped at level 40 and a SS/Elec Broot stopped at level 35. I regularly run TFs and generate IOs at those levels. I'm thinking of bringing something to 33 and doing the same, since that seems to be a sweet spot. I cannot for the life of me remember what all my rolls have been, but there was a LotG:7.5 in there somewhere.
Level 32 red-side:
Call of the Sandman: Acc/Sleep/Rech (Recipe)
Stupefy: Chance for Knockback (Recipe)
Mako's Bite: Acc/End/Rech (Recipe)
Decimation: Acc/Dam/Rech (Recipe)

Took me until today to realize that I should run my Midlevel character around to grab all the freebie merits.
Mako: Chance for Lethal (33), Posi acc/dam/end (33), Tempest: chance for teapot (30), and the Price is Right sad music for a Dark Watcher: rech/end.

My last ten rolls have netted complete crap, both red and blue side.
Hopefully that will count to the RNG as "paying my dues" and i'll get some tastey ones! LOL

Well, between Flamin' Trolla and Vortex Core (both Fire/Rads), I've generated something in the neighborhood of 850 merits that I cashed in a little over 2 weeks ago. Splitting rolls between 10-14 and 30-34
Multiple Basilisk quads
A bunch of Neuronic Shutdown procs
An LOTG 7.5% Recharge
Three BOTZ -KB
A Steadfast Def/Res
A Miracle + Recovery
I seem to have better luck when I save them up and do a bunch of rolls.
I still get a lot of crap, but I get a chance to see all the good stuff I've built up too. It keeps me from getting frustrated.

To be clear, level 33 recipes/IOs are desirable blueside? My Grav/TA is about to ding 33 with a bunch of Merits; I had been rolling at level 30 and sold some stuff, then was going to wait until level 35 for the rest of the rolls. Should I be rolling at level 35-39?
Questions about the game, either side? /t @Neuronia or @Neuronium, with your queries!

"That depends" is the only answer I can honestly give.
I did a very small informal poll when I first saw the hollowing-out problem, on the market forums. Most people didn't care much about specific level. A couple people voted level 33.
(33 was desired for PVP back in the day, and it was the level you got for Katie Hannons*, so it was sort of the de facto "not 50" level.)
Last time I looked at a few recipes for the sweet spot in the 30-40 range it varied from recipe to recipe. Some peaked at 30, some peaked at 33, some at 35. 31 and 34 seemed relatively unpopular. Some people like 32's so they can Ouro to 29 and keep their bonuses. Some people like 30's and some like 35's.
With under-40 supply so low, I think you've got the same customers no matter WHERE you roll.
* that is, if you outlevelled a KH in the middle because of all the Marys and whatnot, you stopped at 33 and that's where you got your recipe. as far as I remember.

Level 33 IOs let you have full bonuses down to Citadel's TF. So it's only Positron, Synapse, and Sister that miss out on the set bonuses.
You also get full use of bonuses in Siren's Call, subject to diminishing returns. Although I don't think that is much of a concern these days. There are never more than a handfull of people in Siren's, even on Freedom during prime time.

I've realized that I have a handful of toons "stuck" in their 30s that have a few thousand tickets each. They will be generating Bronze recipes across 30-34 and 35-39, but I could one or two of those toons to join this effort for Pool C/D drops as well.
As soon as I decide, which one I can stand to play and want to dress up with set IOs and uniques and such, I'll join up. After 6+ years of play, I'm always looking for something different.
