I bought a bunch of random rolls at 15 million each. Not everything is listed because of lack of slots. Prices are "just under" for rapid sale.

Devastation Dam/Rech at 30x2 - one sold (uncrafted for 1M), one crafted for sale at 5M
Gaussian Rech/End (two at 37; sold one, crafted, for 20 million inf. The other is a recipe, for sale just under 15M. )
Impervium Armor: Resist (29 and 37; listed for 19 and 25M)
Luck of the Gambler: Def/End/Rech L37; listed for 8 M)
Obliteration Acc/Dam/End/Rech (L37, crafted, listed for 25M)
Scirocco's Chance for Lethal (L29, listed for 11 M)

... so looks like 110 M with a few more coming, on an investment of 240 M. So it goes.

When frankenslotting it doesn't matter to me if it's a 33 Crushing Impact Acc/Dam or a 33 Focused Smite Acc/Dam, I get the same effect.

I was totally surprised the lack of Non-Prime AOE recipes. If it wasn't a Scirocco or Positron piec they weren't making it to the market.

My goal was to make this toon without dipping into the Pool C pool if you will, staying with uncommon recipes that drop all the time. Apparently because there is no market they are getting vendored.

I propose an AE Bronze Ticket Roll Blow-out. Let's take a team and max out our tickets 2 or 3 times, take Bronze Rolls 35-39 and stock up all the Melee, Ranged, AoE crafted IO's we can carry for the SG use.
Crushing Impact and Thunderstrikes *are* commons. I put them in the bins for SG use because a) I've already sold 2 or 3 complete sets of each and b) the character doesn't need the influence.

The only way I could improve my build at this point is going for a defensive build that would include 2 sets of Kinetic Combat and grabbing Weave. That would get me up to 17% melee defense which is far from shabby for a level 33 regen. However, the build I have right now is far from bad, so the difference in performance in being able to complete story arcs or participate in TFs is only marginal.

So again, take the Crushing Impacts. No one else seems to want them.

I tend to view Crushing Impacts and Thunderstrikes as sort of "getto" IOs as far as crafting and selling goes. It's true that they come from nice sets that people like to use, but they are so common that even with the cheap cost of salvage (no rare salvage required), it's hard to make much of a profit crafting and selling them.

That's mostly from the level 50 market point of view, but if I get drops for them at any other level I have no problem crafting and tossing into the storage bin. They're not going to make me a lot of money otherwise.

I will craft and sell them occasionally just because I have a dozen other characters who are already bidding on or selling every other useful damage IO I can think of that can make me money.

Red Fortunes and Titanium Coatings fall into a similar category (actually, they're even worse, except red side). Doctored Wounds are just about the only all-common level 50 IO set that I make good money crafting, at least for certain pieces of the set.

I'll keep a lookout for any other damage IOs that are triples or include accuracy.

Also, how do you buy random rolls? I've never done that.

1. broadcast and explain to the smartelbows in Atlas Park Freedom what you're doing.
2. Explain in /tell to someone who actually DOES have more than 20 merits at a level under 41 what you're doing.
3. Meet them at a merit vendor, give them the inf.
[Person in question rolls random]
4. Trade again, getting the recipes.

I've never been ripped off, which is pleasant and slightly surprising to me. People have taken the inf and happily handed over Miracle +Regens, LoTGs, and other items of disproportionate value. Of course, I've also given the inf and seen someone roll a jaw-dropping collection of terrible things. To be fair, that was before they weighted the tables, but still... sixteen things in a row.

Well I just thought it would be nice to have a pile of available IO's for the Mids toons to use for frankenslotting. Not as a means of making a profit. I'm at 100Mill+ already just selling my merit rolls and after spending about 50mill IO'ing my toon out with Non-Pool C/D lvl 30-35 IO's.

My thought was this...Lvl 35 common Acc IO is 34%, a lvl 35 Acc/Dam IO (any set) is 22.9%/22.9% for a total of 45.8%, the tri's are about 54% total. I just wanted the maximum amount of Accuracy, Damage, Redux, Recharge available for the only limiting factor we are working under and that is slots.

I was totally surprised at the lack of supply available for the non-prime sets, especially melee and pbaoe.

On a side note, I just dropped in a bunch of IO's maybe 20 melee, ranged, aoe, heal, resist sets into the bins. I've been bronze rolling and buying 30 tier 2 salvage with ae tickets.

Ran a Moonfire TF this morning. I was really worried about the team at first, since it was a total PuG and some people didn't seem to know exactly what they were doing. The leader asked us if he should set any limits on the TF... several people didn't know what he meant. I said "probably not a good idea for a PuG" and someone in the group didn't even know what "PuG" meant. So, yeah, some inexperienced players.

The leader had sent met tells before I joined that he was going to do a TF, but despite this, one person quit literally 30 seconds after we'd started. A second person quit when we were more than halfway through saying his wife was yelling at him. The team took an inordinate amount of time starting the second to last mission... seriously, it was nearly 15 minutes before we could get started. Then when we'd finished that one, I said, "this is the last one," and someone immediately said, "Thanks, guys!" and quit and logged off. I couldn't tell if it was because he thought we were done or what.

Anyway, it was just over 2 hours for a task force that really shouldn't take that long. It was 36 merits. I rolled: Mako's Bite Dam/Rech and Mako's Bite triple. Bleah. Crafted and dumped into the SG bin.

You need to re-look at those two recipes then. The below 50, especially ranges 35-42 Thunderstrikes and 32-37 Crushing Impacts, are in very high demand. I've sold a bunch of them for 3M a pop, I've sold a number for 7-8M. Considering the ease in which I got the recipes and the low cost of salvage, that's a phenomenal return on investment.

I go for a high volume selling strategy and those IOs move fast enough for me that I will make them an active part of my marketing strategy. And 3-8M is plenty of profit for a slot. I've made billions in marketing things like Triage and Serendipity, so I'm not embarrassed at all at making *merely* 8M a slot, especially if the turnover is fast (fast = must sell overnight).

I tend to log in my marketing toons no more than 3 times a week, some of them only once a week. If lower levels are something I could buy ten of within a few days, that would be something I could look into. I like to buy in stacks of 10 at a time for crafting.

But I really have no trouble making money. ^_^

Hey Mids:

I'm out of Town until Friday. Anything in the bins with the name "Flame Ape" on it is available for anyone who needs it. I crafted a bunch and moved some things around a bit...all the Crushing Impacts together, etc.

CYA when I get back.
