Redraw is part of the game in a way. If you want to be an Arch/kin ofcourse there's gunna be a delay like in real life. How can you get around the fact you need to pull out your bow after using a secondry power?

It's the way it is, just like if you we're shiooting an changed to a mace, there has to be a delay, it's not realistic if you could swap instantly....

If you shoot a blast of Kinetic energy at someone to slow them down, why would you have to put up your bow? Use your other hand, or shoot the energy out with your hand with the bow in it?

I know how to punch someone with my left hand while holding a sword in my right.

I also know how to kick someone if I have both hands full.

As I hold a bow with my left hand, I can easily punch someone with my right without slinging the bow across my back.

Were I able to send out various forms of energy by manipulating said energies with my mind and directing them through my extremities, I would be able to launch my single target immobilize from my big toe, or perhaps my nose or mouth without putting my bow or assault rifle up to do so.

In other words, redraw is something that should have never been put into the game in the first place. Since it was, it has caused the developers a great deal of work in getting around it.

BAB is actively working on a solution, or at least was until he hit a wall with shields. This tells me that the devs want redraw about as much as many of us do. Which is not at all in combat.

Let's not talk realism with redraw when what actually happens is far less realistic than what should be occurring. Even if if were realistic, there's a need to draw a line between "realistic" and "fun," and redraw really isn't that fun.

I should think not. It's a whole different style of shooting.

What they SHOULD do is decrease the gosh damn endurance costs for MM personal attacks. Have you SEEN how much they cost? I'd expect to be two shotting minions with the cost of MM attacks, instead they do piddly damage.

As for changing anims, seriously doubt. Alternate animations? Maaaaybe. Still doubtful.

Incase I run into an enemy resistant to fire(ill be taking fire as my bullet type) I'll easily just get 2 costumes with different bullet types so the fire resistant enemy will be like haha im strong against you and I'll be like hah sucker i have cyro bullets too! and the enemy im suspecting will be unresisting cold damage so WIN! and yeah it'll make gaming alot more fun like that!

That's if it's set up like alternate animations, instead of "choose what Dual Pistol Set you want".

So far it's been stated that one of the powers in the set changes the ammo type, which is not at all like alternate animations. Still, that's no reason not to set up a different costume for each ammo type, it's just not required.

Actually, they never said that it could not be done. They gave reasons why it wouldn't be feasible to spend a year working on just Power Color Customization(Henceforth known as PCC) to the exclusion of all else. They never said that they weren't working on PCC either. People assumed that it would never be done and called the Devs liars when the Devs surprised everyone with PCC.

They also gave us a little inside information into what all went into getting PCC accomplished. In addition to giving major kudos to the genius programmer who came up with the way to strip all the animations of their baked in colors. Which was the major roadblock to PCC in the first place.

BaBs is not saying that redraw elimination will never be released. He's saying that he has run into a roadblock and that it will take a little more work than he originally thought. Addmitedly, I haven't read everything about it because redraw doesn't really bother me.
