I think if Marketing hates us, they really have no idea how much we truely dislike them.
I call for a 50% pay cut... and maybe some people should start looking for a new job...
Whatever scales they are looking at, or information that tells them how to do their job?! Well they should throw it away, and start listening to the people who matter... US... WE PAY FOR THE GAME... If we did not exist they would not have a job?! Atleast not working for Paragon...

When Newbies come to our forums now, all they see is a sea of people being UNHAPPY. Get on the ball NC this can't be what you want to see.

Not true. I've been around for a litle over a week now, and I find people on here to be nothing but hlepful, concise and open to expansion on the many, many FAQ's I have asked. Of course, I have Forum experience the net over and know to phrase and check my posts to prevent a roasting|!
And yeah, I have never seen such a buttsucker of a marketing dept. worse than CoX's!

Each server has its own crowd, and I think a lot of players 'test the waters' on multiple servers before choosing a couple that they particularly enjoy.
Does that mean that no other servers allow RPing? No. Does that mean you can't PvP on any server save Freedom? No. It all comes down to your personal taste.

Hmm Defiant does seem a little quiet on the player front, and apart form my IRL friends who I RP with, no one seems to RP on Defiant, not that I have met many players on there yet. I guess time will tell, i'm here for the RP not how may IO's I can cram up my ****!
Though I do remember, in my first week I made an Elec/Elec Tanker (looks like a giant blue werewolf) some lady came up to me and said "Hewooo Doggy" to which I replied with /e roar and she ran off screaming LMAO!
Defiant is a whole different can of worms, being an EU server.
I'm in school for marketing. Will you all hate me? 
Yeah I guess so..... Is there any way to get on other servers if they're not listed as options when I go to log in?

You wouldn't be able to transfer from a EU to a US server. Buy the US version of the game if you're able to find it somehow, and then you'll get all 12 of the US servers. Maybe ask here to see what those folks have done.

Seriously. Although, yeah, if you fancy US times, get a US copy. But if you live in the EU, I'd get an EU copy.
