So, when do we actually get new Costumes?

I have a friend who uses the valk boots at every opportunity, and I think they look hilariously bad. Pointed toes, giant rounded kneecaps. Ew. The round bulbs on hands, knees, and shoulders look like giant armored tumors.
You need to look through the other bits, though - the boots are not just the armored boots. There are also thinner, textured ones, the size of normal boots (not available on thigh high) and similar gloves without the "domes." I seem to use the (non-domed, non-winged) shoulder bits more than I anticipated, as well. Armor plate.

I know about all the other parts. I don't get any use out of them really. I've never found a costume where the valk patterns looked good. I did get to see someone who used it as a cool sort of reptile skin with armor plates that was really well done. But outside of that, I just don't like them.

I do get use out of the cape though, now that I think about it. It's a really cool cape.

Valkyrie 3? Same here. Those ones are probably my favorite ones to use. Not overly huge, not too eye-catchy. Just a nice pair of armor plates for shoulder protection.

Ahh. OK, sounded to me like you thought the bulky armored ones were the only ones. I've found the bulky boots useful once - bot/ff MM's armored look. The other bits I seem to find myself using here and there - just ended up mixing the gloves with the MA pack robe and a few other bits, worked out as a sort of 'padded/armored" look.

Hey! Everything in the ValPack rocks.

I use the boots and gloves on all my martial arts toons. Those pieces really look like they'd hurt someone if you punched/kicked using them! Just never use the 'winged' option myself

Val3 for the shoulders and the chest plate are the most realistic looking armors in the game

This is what my valkyrie looks like:

...never said you should make your toons look like mine. Your Valkyrie looks good. But I don't even have a Norse themed female toon. Just because the costume set is labeled 'Valkyrie' doesn't mean that's all it's limited too. I use it for making face-breaker toons that wear body armor. We just don't agree about aesthetics, and there's nothing wrong with that

I've made a dwarf using the Valkyrie armour. The ridiculously huge shoulderpads work for a Warhammer style.

The pointed toe and the giant round kneecap are exactly what makes the boots so cool. We don't have any other boots that have this shape, and they're very much half the reason I bought the pack, that and the shoulders. The rest of the pack I haven't actually used much, I don't think.

We don't have any other boots that look remotely medieval, either.
The helmets just about pass muster, but the horrible, club-foot boots and stuff really don't. They made Samurai armour look wicked, but western medieval armour sucks....bah, humbug!

Eh? I never said that either. And yeah, nothing wrong with disagreeing on certain sets.

Personally, I don't make hardly any armored characters, and no robots. As a result, the most use I get out of valk and cyborg packs is shoulderpads, belts, and capes. I tend to do lightly armored characters, as you can see by my valkyrie there. I don't have heavy armor toons, and even my valkyrie warrior there shows a lot of skin and wears light armor.

I get more use out of the magic and martial arts pack than anything else. But that's because I make a lot of natural and magic toons. I use the bolero a lot now. And I get more use out of the textured wedding pack tops and skirt than I do any sort of armored piece. Not everyone does that, and I know lots of people who don't even have the wedding pack. Likes and dislikes vary.

I have to agree abit with the OP. While we have got new costume pieces, they're few and far between, unlockables, or just bad (the recent ones were met with alot of dissapointment). It'd be nice if they released simpler versions of some of the booster stuff for free.

It'd be nice if they did lots of things.

But there is something in this world called "money" and "resources", which tend to be party poopers for all the "nice" stuff.

Think about the endless posibilities when it comes to capes and wings. Maybe costumes need "money" and "resources" to be developed and implemented in a game. But I do think we could get more capes and more wing designs. At least more capes.
