Who are you calling inferior!

No one would follow an uncharismatic bore like you!

(I think I've watched that movie one too many times, if that's what comes to mind when I see a post like that.)

We here at the Steelclaw Institute have done exhaustive studies upon this recently released statistical information and have come up with the following results provided here in the handy-dandy Steelclaw Patented List Format:

1) DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

2) Aforementioned doom is over-rated and the result of various glitches in the system, please disregard.

3) Glitches in the system have been /bug reported.

4) Response to bug report was an all out offensive using the new Bug Swatter power set; the battle was short and oh-so-sweet.

5) The battle was too short and too sweet; the Bug Swatter power set has been nerfed.

6) Forum outrage over the the nerfing of the Bug Swatter power set has reached critical levels.

7) We're pretty sure one of those downward sloping lines on the graph are a direct result of the Forum outrage over the nerf. Even if it isn't that's what we're going to blame because we're relatively certain that down means "bad".

8) The Steelclaw Marketing department declared war on the Steelclaw Research department for leaking information about ANY downward line on an economic graph regardless of whose graph or whose economics it was.

9) There was no ninth item, however Steelclaw list guidelines prefer to be at least 10 items long so this one was thrown in as filler.

10) The introduction and subsequent revelation of "filler items" in a Steelclaw list immediately invalidated all results and suppositions previously stated. This list has been declared null and void.

We shall be by shortly to erase your memory.

Thank you for choosing the Steelclaw Institute for all your statistical interpretation needs.

My mind wanders so often you've probably seen its picture on milk cartons. - Me... the first person version of the third person Steelclaw

It's still a false perspective since we don't know if there is a box sell goal and there are no subscription numbers.

Kinda neat, I guess

I think those are decent enough sales - so long as the retail stores are happy and keep carrying it, I'm happy.

However, just looking at the graph:

1) This is the only time that there has been a decrease in sales for three consecutive quarters
2) Each quarter in 2009 the % drop in sales has increased, with an 18% loss in Q3

Again, this is only part of the story. However, the finance folks at Paragon surely get uneasy seeing this data.
Considering that the economy saw a 40% drop in sales over the same period, having only an 18% drop is ******* astounding.

Would you provide your data or source? The data I am looking at says that video game sales for Q3 2009 are down only 6%, 9% for the year.

Aren't these sales figures in KR Mn Won, meaning they are the total revenue figures derived from all sources (sub fees, box sales, booster packs, etc) rather than raw number of box sales?

The only thing I hated is that the DvD I got had a version that was only mostly remastered. The nice crisp animation suddenly drops to the old fuzzy Betamax-grade quality when Wheelie points to the spaceship for the others to use.

And that was one thing I really liked about the 2nd Bayformer movie; Wheelie's remake. I. . . .kinda like him as an RC Truck Decepticon that jumps ship the moment he realizes you can choose who you are.

"Who's a good little Autobot?"

Me: O_O; What the heck?! Why are you. . .doing that. . . do his leg? OMG! That's so much more awesome than the little rhyming version.

It's guilty pleasure of mine for enjoying both live action movies.

I actaully like the second movie more than the first. The first was just a T&A fest from Miss Fox, idiocy all around and a general lack of character. Oh, and bad camera angles.

RotF felt...well, kinda epic. The battle in Egypt, and especially the Forest battle, actually had me on the edge of my seat. It did help that they made Prime NOT get mauled all over by Megatron. And there was much more canon stuff in there. Even though its still Bayformers, it was at least watchable

I had a hard time watching the movie because of the twins.

Yeah, the faces were stupid...
But, tbh, the dialogues tyle (note, not the dialogue itself but the style) was fairly close to some of the stuff from the old G1 cartoon. But yes, Bay does go far OTT with the slightly corny American humour.

Slightly corny. Very wrong.

Honestly, Revenge of the Fallen? Bay could've removed all of the human characters, made only minor dialogue changes to get the plot, such as it was, to make sense, and had about 90 minutes of awesome.

Instead, we got 150-some minutes of suck.

BackAlleyBrawler: I can't facepalm this post hard enough.
ShoNuff: If sophisticated = bro-mantically emo-tastic, then I'm going to keep to my Shonen loving simplicity dammit.

So with roughly 5,000 sales per quarter being the lowest level, Q2 2010 should see a very big upswing - but Q1 2010 might not show much change, as there doesn't seem to be an Issue planned for release during or near to it.

If anything it should go a bit lower than it is now with GR seeing a much bigger increase [and thus when we look back in say another 3 years we'll be like woah look at that jump!].

Sales are nowhere near a hard source of information. You can get multiple subscribers using the same disk.

I was looking at your previous post, and missed the 'Q3' in the 18% statement. My mistake. Doesn't change the fact that their drop in sales is far less than the economy has seen as a whole.

GAH!
I KNEW there was a gap in my web-comics favourites list!
Thanks Bitt!
