Transparent GIFs are the work of the devil! (for this very reason). Even IE supports transparent PNGs nowadays.
I've blocked the hideous things now, but give us back our old smiles! Otherwise how will I know if GG is serious or not in her posts?

Maybe the problem is that they are still using the old smilies that assumed a clear colour, like we saw on the old EU boards? Maybe not... either way we demand new shiney things!1!!!1

Obviously it ain't the end of the world or anything, it just looks way uglier. I suspect it's not an intentional change (or I hope not anyway).
I could care less about the smilies--it's more the complete deletion of most of the chatter and posts in all the Social Groups that I belong to that I mourn.

little AT emoticons would be kick-***! we could use them in our sigs to list our toons, without taking up so much space.
or they could just be the normal emoticons with masks
@craggy see me on Union for TFs, SFs (please!) or just some good ol fashioned teaming.
I think ALL the old emoticons are better - that's why I rescued them from oblivion!

I'd like for them to be just a wee bit bigger, so you can more easily tell the difference between them.
Loose --> not tight.
Lose --> Did not win, misplace, cannot find, subtract.
One extra 'o' makes a big difference.
Is it just me or have the Forum emoticons changed to some really horrible multi-coloured ones with nasty colour clashing edges? (horrible transparent GIFs which seem to assume a white background on them which means nastily aliased edges).
I especially loved the old Confused one, now I'm getting a little blue man with ??? over his head.
What gives?
