What is the Undrn3t?

Hey LOOK! This might not be such a crazy idea after all!

Hmmm.... fascinating.

I like this. Perhaps people could build something akin to it as a chat channel on their server. Undrn3t channels...

Something that bothered me about the Resistance... why would people resist Utopia? I can imagine that only the free thinkers, the artists would wish for less regulation and conformity and they are rarely combative people. They are more likely to be too intelligent to indulge in wilful destruction. My conclusion was that the resistance was the Darwinians. Those who realised that imposing order and stability on a system ensures it's destruction, for the way all living things have survived over the years is by being quick to adapt to change. A sudden accident or destructive asteroid could wipe out the world, but if we were ready to adapt, then the species may survive. Perhaps I thought too much about this?

Sorry, but I think my opinion of the Undrn3t has been soured at this point. Although I like the concept, the supposedly viral marketing ploy of [u]tagging every darn thread[/url] with "The Undrn3t is everwhere" is completely obnoxious.

And no, I'm not the person counter-tagging with "the Undrn3t is obnoxious", because I find that almost as obnoxious in itself, ironically. Plus I don't have time to stalk all those threads.

For once, I see the "remove tags" argument's point of view.

Okay, by request I have now removed all of the Undrn3t tags that *I* added to the forums. HOWEVER, once a meme is started... there is little that I can do to stop other people from spreading it.

I very much like this, but I'd like to see it expanded into other realms outisde of purely tech. Why not have some of the messages include magical/psychic encryption on top of the tech. That means that Loyalist sniffers are even less likely to decrypt your underground orders.

Ever at work to aid you in our struggle against the Oppressor, Resistance scientists have developed new tools to aid you, the blueb0x, greenb0x, purpleb0x, beigeb0x, vermillionb0x, goldb0x, blackb0x, mauveb0x, orangeb0x, and periwinkleb0x. Detailed instructions on building these devices can be found on the undrn3t.

Some members have reported being haunted by the souls of the damned while using the periwinkleb0x, but nothing has been confirmed so far. Also, be careful when attaching the goldb0x to the power grid, and, for the love of Tielekku, never interface the mauveb0x and the beigeb0x together unless you want to commit a war crime. If you do want to commit a war crime they are great for that, but the PR department strongly requests we not commit any war crimes.
