But i should have known, really, after the WoW appeared. I mean, there i was, playing CoH, and she was right there in my living room playing WoW on her laptop literally behind my back!

That sucks, but as far as gaming goes, her liking WoW and you liking CoH is akin to her liking conventional positions and you liking having your little buddies hooked up to a car battery.

i have 2 pcs. I was all set to get a second account. She rolled a new toon, played the tutorial, did just one mission and then declared she preferred wow and that was that. Rubbish attempt at giving coh a fair go if you ask me.
She also put far too much salt into food when she cooked.

The chance of ever finding the perfect partner without nasty flaws like playing WoW is a slim one. The benefits of having a bf/gf into gaming him/herself are great to. Those partners will be more inclined to understand the need to play just one more mission.
Better luck next time though. Sometimes a relationship does not match enough to make you overlook the flaws.

I like my way, a girlfriend or partner (or in my case wife) who doesn't play online games so doesn't hog the computer so we don't need to spend money on two computers.
Also it means that she can't become really good at a game and kick my **** in it.
Downsides; she can't understand how I can spend so much time online in the evening... and she controls the TV.
Considering the crap on TV recently, it's not a bad tradeoff imo.
