MA Super Team Starting and we want you!

I have toyed with the idea of starting a character that strictly leveled in MA. The one thing that has held me back is that I felt it would not be that much fun solo. Having that in mind I am starting the MA-ARC-1 super group and inviting you all to join me in starting new characters for this group.

This new group will be started on Triumph. I picked Triumph as the base of operations for two reasons. Firstly, because it is a lower population server. Secondly, it was where I originally started my first set of characters and though I have not played there in years, I do have financial resources that I am willing to donate to get everyone going. Additionally, we can coalition with my SG there that has a loaded base we can use.

Part of my plan with this SG is for us to have regular teaming times and special nights. For example I will like to have a "0 Plays" Night where we only pick and play unplayed arcs. For now I am proposing Saturday or Sundays at noon EST as our normal scheduled time. For people that this time does not work due to time zones, I am hoping a few will join and start a second set of regular play times that is convenient for them.

I really enjoy the people that inhabit MA: Stories & Lore and hope many of you will join me in this little adventure.

Note - I just created Miss Jersey on Triumph and will be working on getting her to 10 so she can start the SG. My global is @Wrong Number

My SG on Freedom ran an event similar to this... We were going to level up brand new toons together only using MA. The only problems we had were that 1, it seemed to move slower. 2, we had a hard time sorting through all the farms to find stories. 3, it was very hard to get everyone to show up on time.

Just my advice, probably should have your team riffle through the MA stories on their own at some point to have a few picked out a head of time to try. That way you're not sitting around while someone browses.

If you do indeed decide to run this for weekends, I would love to volunteer. I do enjoy the MA quite a bit and would love to play somewhere other than Freedom for once!

I am running it. Working on getting Miss Jersey to 10 to start the SG right now. I use spend an hour a night playing unrated/played arcs so I know what you mean and it is a good suggestion to at least have a few working arcs lined up.

I was just talking to FredrikSvanberg on the MA Arc Finder Channel and he had the great idea of doing this in the RWZ and having both hero and villain groups available. So at his suggestion I will be creating a VG group named MA-Arc-2 for those that want to play villains.

Ooooo, if you do a Villian group, I'm definitely in for that! I don't get to play near enough Villains! I always found them to be more solo oriented and I like the group play aspect of the game. So, count me in for villains as long as it's a Saturday or Sunday. Those are the only days I get to play right now.

I'm well up for this! I'm in europe, so sat noon for east coast USA is 8pm here, so i can join you for 4 or 5 hrs at least. I'll get working on some toons on triumph.

Miss Jersey is level 10 and MA-Arc-1 has been created. I have coalitioned us already so we have access to telepads to get new characters to the RWZ.

Started Bad Manners and am working on getting her to 10 so I can found MA-Arc-2.

Since I have succumbed to temptation and decided to check out your side of the pond to rediscover the joy of Pugging I do happen to be able to join this endeavor. It so happens that on Triumph, I got a disagreeable fellow named Mook Buster. Trained and bred to assist the Verandi Family against the council, now that he has succeeded he can join you.

This sounds like lots of fun! I probably can't make it at noon most weekends (I usually am busy with RL chores around then) but I do have alts on Triumph and may drop in occasionally.

This sounds like fun.

I made two toons that I'll get up to ten and see how I feel about. Mind Field, a FF/psionic Defender and Electric Overdrive, an Electric Melee/Energy Aura Brute. I'm thinking I'll go with the Brute though....

Bad Manners is now level 10 and has started up the MA-Arc-2 villain group! So make a hero, a villain or both and sign up!

First official teaming will be this Saturday at noon EST in the RWZ. I have coalitioned both groups so just use our coalition members bases to get yourself there. You can run the gauntlet to reach the AE building or just wait for a vet to tp you. Hope to see many of you there.

I was having an uncharacteristic dearth of inspiration this morning for two hours trying to roll up some new toons, so i gave up (the final straw was realising i'd forgotten to change my placeholder origin - after exiting the tutorial. A fallen angel with a Science origin? Oops. ) and left it aline. Sure enough, on my way to work a neat idea popped into my head.

I'll sort him out this evening. Might not be able to get him joined until sat, but i'll definitely be in.

I don't want to commit to another team, but if it's a casual thing I'll go roll up a buffing Defender of some kind on Triumph, so if I feel like joining you guys I can at least be somewhat useful.

I should hopefully be there with a brand new Stalker, Shadow Conduction.
