A level 40 Warshade... no vet badges... has 3 exploration badges... has 15 AE badges... has NO OTHER badges... doesn't believe that you can have more than one costume... doesn't know how to get more than one costume... even after seeing more than one costume, believes that they are all "convention" codes....
Yeah, chances are that he got his Kheldian through normal gameplay...

Yes the WS certainly could have been PL'd through the game normally, using PI... but, considering the 0 vet badges, and a multitude of AE badges, they probably are an AE baby. plus, if the warshade was speaking like that and was that ignorant of the game, it's certainly possible that he got his 50 through AE.
So what if Commander was irritated by this behavior and that irritation came out in his post, despite intending it to be amusing? I understand. its really hard to write about something that annoys you and make it funny without bashing the antagonizer.
and Nethergoat, I realize your intentions in defending the WS-in-question's credibility. but as I was reading your posts, I couldn't help but think that the tone you were taking was so defensive, it seemed like you felt the terms "AE baby" and "Exploiter" were applicable to you and were being used against you. I know you feel like you must protect the WS, but I beg you, walk away... before you really start to make a fool of yourself

I think rather, that Nether feels that this post, and others like it, are back-handed slaps at the Farming community, in general.
I can see that but even still, there are farmers who act much more intelligently than that, and this thread is about the ignorance of the Warshade, not about farmers in general.
At least thats how i see it.

The "Oh, but maybe..." and "But you don't know!" apologetic simply never sails with me. Well, maybe the Warshade in question just levelled up very fast and missed all of the costume slots. Maybe English wasn't his first language. Or maybe aliens visited him at night and gave him a brain tumour. Yeah, we don't know, but when it comes to these things, I call 'em as I see 'em.

But I will say that what the person did (as in, flame someone for having a "special convention costume") is fairly ignorant, regardless of how they got to their level. Whether or not they're an "AE Baby" is a moot point. Even not knowing you can have multiple costume slots can be forgiven. The real stupidity (and the main point of this story) lies in the fact that the player in question chose to flame someone over a costume. o_o

There's nothing wrong with being a newbie, even a newbie with a 50, as long as you realize you still have a lot to learn. This guy thought he knew it all, and wouldn't even listen even though it would have helped him to find out more.

Seriously, there is nothing wrong with people who levelled from 1-50 when they were new using MA. Mistakes happen, ones the Devs corrected, things can carry on and all that. Its done and dusted.
That ISN'T, afaik, the issue here.
Ignorrance is one thing, but that, frankly, isn't ignorance. Thats just rampant moronism and base stupidity. And yes, it could have come from anyone, not just because they were AE levelled (and if they had no defeat badges, no exploration or whatnot, that leaves very few options now)
