I haf probably overdone the statement there, that's a thing that I do. In my brain she is noticeably physically fit, but her strength comes from hyper-dense muscles, not noticeably large ones - toned, but with less of the ultra-low body fat percentages that produce the really visible lines (that's probably not entirely realistic but this is a game about superheroes damnit. :P). If I could draw this would be a lot easier. Also different is not bad!

I need to re-do her body pose anyway so I will keep in mind.

I been away from the tablet for waaay to long.

I've also been taking some stock of my work.

I think I've developed a reputation for not taking critiques well.

and frankly I haven't...that is my fault and I should know better.

I need to read the good and bad and really take it to heart.

What do you think of these colors I did for Caemgen?

Hm. Not bad Scoots. Could use more contrast with the color sections imo, and a bit more modeling but not too bad at all.

Thanks Scoots, they all look great! For your first time coloring someone elses lines (I believe?) you really did a bang up job!

Contrast means different values next to eachother, or colors that will bring one another forward and back (a cool background will push a warm foreground further up). Also, stronger lights and darks.

Modeling means really using your shadows and highlights to describe the forms, making them turn in space.

Sorry I was just as vague in my question as Bayani.

I meant, what does he mean by "color sections", that the part that is cunfuzzling me.

I know nothing about art language, but as a WAG, could he mean the 'blocks' of color in the background in each image?

Scoots that is so AWESOME! I love Boozy! I'm speachless! (Which if ya know me is pretty amazing) The skull swords are just too cool! We need those in game now! I also love that you showed your WIP as a animation. That is cool!
