five hours for " routine" server maintence..? I'd like to think so.. but like someone else said earlier... u never can be to sure.

Version numbers on the Live updater and Test updater match after patching this morning.

Wish they'd just combine regular Monday maintenance with i16 and future upgrades. Sucks living in Australia when you keep getting the double whammy in prime playing time for us.

I knew it... I totally knew it. 16 would come out the same day i go on vacation. so you can all thank me and my bad timing for a vacation on the release of 16... now the question is... can i find WiFi on the beach? ugh, sand in the laptop might be bad.

Honestly, I'm considering taking a few days to let the issue cool down and I don't even have any vacation time.

What is odd however, is there is no announcement saying i16 is live or not. Not on the forums, the updater, or the main page. *Waits as updater loads, hopes...*

There normally isn't an anouncement on the day it comes out, they sneak it out quietly and hope that not everyone will try to get on at once.... just in case they need to shut it down suddenly for an emergency maint like with I13

And servers are not up yet, it will still be some time before they come live

Looks like i16 hits today after all the patching the Live Version number is 1600.20090902.4T2 witch happens to be the same version the test server running...

Ok dumb question.

I've heard what's supposed to be in this Issue, but not really anything concrete.

What, besides claws for brutes and swords for the bad guys, is coming out?

elec armor for tanks and scrappers
custom color for powers
selection of powers ex: ground punch instead of foot stomp for SS
and lots of other cool things

AE nuke to get full xp on missions in AE you have to have minions, leuts, and bosses... if one group is missing you gain 50% xp if it is only bosses you gain 25% xp

stuff like that =D

I wish they would keep test open while they fiddle with live, that way at least we would still have the game.... at least in one aspect.

yea i've just opened the updater and it says "Project City of Heroes - Version 1600.20009002.4T2 so yeah say's version 16 which is no doubt issue 16.. i think i should re read whats happening in issue 16 so i can get excited ready

I've re read over what's in issue 16 and i love the fact you will be able to do this "These themes will allow for color tinting of geometry and particle effects such as energy blast colors and force field colors"

I havn't read anything about them stopping AE farming and how they are to do it? Does anyone here know and can care to explain for me?

Well i just tried to log in and it said that the server was currently only open for NCSoft employees due to the new publish today :O ....it must be i16 surely! :P

I think we all gathered that being as tho standard maintanence is approx 2 hours and this is taking 5hours.. what for? New issue perhaps :P
i cannot wait bored ******** till it does come out tho

from what I remember it is as follows..... AE custom missions have to have the three levels of baddies in it, minions, leuts, and bosses. If one of them is missing say just leuts and bosses in the mission then you will get 50% of the xp, if there is only bosses you will recieve only 25% of the normal xp, if it has all three then you will recieve full credit.

and 50% - 25% effects the prestige and cash amounts also.

yeah now that it is open to all levels bah.... but with the auto sks and exemps that is going to make game play alittle more interesting too
